Captain Jack: Tell me how you got your start in porn.

Johnny Goodluck: Actually, I’m married to Draven Star so my wife has been working in the industry a lot longer than me. She started out with Burning Angel a long time ago. I started by being a roadie for her at conventions. I worked for Burning Angel and became friends with their whole crew. Then we moved to LA 3 years ago and I started PAing for Joanna and Mike Quasar. And Quasar had me help out on Wicked sets. Then we were at AVN about 3 years ago and Hustler magazine wanted some boy/girl content and I was tested. Because I was already in the circle, it just sort of happened.

CJ: You still bartend. Do you ever get recognized?

Johnny: Yes I do. It’s kind of nice to have a persona where people come out publicly and hang out and do normal people things.

CJ: How was your Super Bowl/Birthday Party last weekend?

Johnny: It was pretty cool. It was Super Bowl Sunday and it was a good time. The owners from my bar were there and they took really good care of me too. Erika Icon was awesome. She put out a ton of stuff about it. I had a really good time. It’s always a little bit weird because the Super Bowl hovers around my birthday but it turned out pretty cool. Maybe because I was at my bar and it just turned into a party!

CJ: You also owned a catering company?

Johnny: I cooked for a long, long time before I even started bartending. When we lived in Baltimore, cooking is all I ever did since high school. By the time I was 24, I had enough to start up my own little shop. I was surprised at how successful I got. I did really, really well. Still, to this day, I have about $20,000 worth of catering gear out in my garage. I plan on relaunching in the future when I stabilize how I spend my time. Right now, everything’s so hectic. There will be more in the future, that’s for sure.

CJ: Now, 9 out of 10 guys will say that they can do it. Tell them why it’s not as easy as it looks!

Johnny: It’s really just a matter of body control. Body control and positions. It’s really hard to ask your body to do these things. Almost nobody knows what you really have to do when you perform. The second I try to explain to people what sex stills are and then how the flow of production goes after that, people change their tune real quick. You have to basically block out the entire scene. You walk in the door, you do this, you have this conversation then you have sex. So you take the pictures of all these scenes up until that point. Then you’re getting a blowjob then it’s doggie style…you have to fully do that in that position and get all these pictures taken of you and your scene partner, with penetration, in all these positions. And then you take pictures with your clothes back on then they’ll shoot you after a 20 minute break. Most guys aren’t coming back from that. I learned more about my body the more I do it. It’s about developing control and knowing how to keep yourself together and not over exert yourself.

CJ: I know how working the 9 to 5 is and some days you just don’t feel like being there. Have you ever felt that way in the industry considering you get a new hottie to bang every day?

Johnny: I wish I felt like that more often, to be honest with you. I’m a workaholic so anytime someone calls me, I’m going to work. And, no, I’ve never didn’t want to be on a set. Sure, there are some days when you’re on a set way longer than you need to be or somebody’s late to set or an 8-hour day turns into a 12 or 13 hour day, sometimes that gets a little grueling. But, other than that, no, I’m pretty happy to go to work everyday. I’m blessed to do what I get to do. I’m a lucky guy, there’s not many guys who get to do this.

CJ: Have you ever been booked with a young babe and it’s difficult to contain yourself?

Johnny: I’ve been surprised a couple of times. There’s been different variations of exactly that. There have been times where I’ve thought, ‘Oh my God, this girl is really hot! I can’t wait to shoot with her!’ Then you shoot with her and it’s not as much fun as you thought it’d be. And there are other times where I’ve never heard of a girl before and she’s just awesome in the shoot. She throws me off and it’s hard to hold myself together. CJ: You were recently in Pure Taboo’s Girls Night. You wrote the script! Tell me about it!

Johnny: We all write our own scripts. Bree does this thing called Porn Star Duty and we all sit down and go over the storyline. Then we create out own dialogue based on what they’re trying to accomplish or what they’re trying to display. So all three of us would basically come up with our own lines and we would fine tune them. So I came up with all the lines for my character and the girls came up with the lines for their characters.

CJ: Who were the two girls.

Johnny: Carolina Sweets and Lily Rader.

CJ: Do you like acting roles?

Johnny: Yes, it’s probably the most unexpected part of performing, having to act and then the more you do it, and the more you realize, acting is really personal. Most people think is all we do is fuck pretty girls. There’s a lot more to it. It’s cool. I never thought that acting would be something that I’d do. But it’s a huge part of the job. It’s interesting and it’s fun to learn and study and get better at that.

CJ: Do you have any new scenes coming out?

CJ: What’s your favorite part about the industry?

Johnny: I think my favorite part is how small it actually is. It’s pretty crazy. You were just at AVN and there were a ton of people and it was a madhouse but if you took away all the production companies and cam companies and all the little facets that were in there and just left the performers, you’d be amazed at how small of a circle it really is. It really is a compact industry. We all know each other after a couple of years. It’s kind of insane.

Alina Lopez Talks with Captain Jack

CJ: How old are you?

Alina: I’m 22.

CJ: How long have you been shooting?

Alina: Since October.

CJ: What’s your ethnicity?

Alina: I am Mexican and white, mixed European on my dad’s side.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

I was definitely not strong enough to do it then.

You can’t let other people’s opinions of you dictate your happiness or emotional stability.

CJ: That leads to my next question, when you got into it, were you aware of the social stigma attached to being a porn star and how it might affect your life forever?

Mona: I think I was in a bubble. I was living in San Francisco; I had already been doing professional domination work for 2 ½ years so I had a network of peers that were supporting me through this. I saw the Armory every day on my walk to BART and I thought I should apply to work for Kink.com. It’s an amazing resource and it’s right there and it’s a castle. ‘I want to go in there!’ So I didn’t really think of the stigma because I was already doing sex work. I kind of made up my mind about that and I was pretty out about it, my domination work, to my friends and family. I don’t think the stigma is something you completely get over. It’s the oxygen you breathe.

Shay Evans Talks with Captain Jack

CJ: You’re very petite, how tall are you?

Shay: I’m 5 foot, zero inches.

CJ: What size are your breasts?

Brooklyn Chase Talks with Captain Jack

Brooklyn is a beautiful woman who I always have good conversations with! This is our 3rd interview and it just keeps getting better! We enjoyed a wide ranging chat including talking about real world issues. Brooklyn has been in the industry for almost 6 years now and she shows no signs of slowing down!

Captain Jack: We always chat at the AVN this year but I swear this year you are in better shape than you’ve ever been. Do you have a new workout program?

Brooklyn Chase: No, I haven’t worked out in a very long time. I just changed the way that I eat pretty drastically. It’s thinned me out a little. I need to start working out. Every single day, I wake up and say, ‘I’m going to start working out today!’ but uh uh.

CJ: Most girls in the industry move toward the epicenter of porn which is LA. You moved to the eastern part of the country recently. How does the San Diego native enjoy the weather out east?

Brooklyn: I actually love it! I’m over the snow for right now but I really like it out here. The people are good, it’s quiet. I live in the suburbs so I’m in a small little town. In the summers, we go kayaking and hiking and quad riding…just fun stuff, outdoor stuff all the time.

CJ: You said you’re over the snow for this year but how do you like it in general? I can’t imagine living in San Diego you saw too much of it.

Brooklyn: The only snow I had ever seen was when I went skiing up in Big Bear. But the first time it snowed, once I moved here, I got so excited and it was about a half an inch! The ground wasn’t even hurt and I was, ‘It’s snowing! This is so great!’ Everyone said, ‘This doesn’t count,’ and I argued, ‘This absolutely counts!’ I was so, so excited. On Easter, we were talking about the 6” we were supposed to have that night and everyone reminded me how excited I was. If I knew then what I knew now! My first two winters here were very, very mild so I just didn’t know what to expect. This one made up for it, however.

CJ: How often do you get out to LA?

Brooklyn: I try to go every month. If not, I go every other month. It just depends on what I have going on at home and if there’s a reason I need to be in California. My family’s still out there and if I need to go out there, I’ll plan my trips around that. Especially this year, I am going to try very hard to go every month.

CJ: Did you watch porn before you got into the industry?

Brooklyn: Not really. I watched occasionally girl/girl stuff but I didn’t know a single person’s name other than Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson, the names everyone knows. Other than that, I was not a porn fan.

CJ: Are you submissive or dominant?

Brooklyn: I prefer to be submissive. Especially to women, I prefer to be submissive because I’m a lot less experienced in that. Pretty much every experience I’ve had with a woman has been on camera. Brooklyn: No. I never experienced anything like that in retail. I think that I was young and didn’t know what I was doing because I was put into a role I wasn’t ready for. I think sometimes I was treated like I was young and didn’t know what I was doing but I have never been hit on by managers or was harassed in anyway. That was nothing I ever experienced.

Della Dane: I grew up outside of Portland, OR in a town called Beaverton. I was raised very Conservative Christian. I was home schooled. One of 5 kids, very, very sheltered and conservative. After college, I started getting out in the big bad world and started doing my own thing.

Della: I’m 33.

Della: Yes, I specialized in sex therapy. I graduated with my Master’s in 2013 but was working during that time because part of my degree required me to work in the field. So on-and-off for 5 or 6 years.

CJ: Why did you give up your career for porn?

Della: The short version is that I had been working in different kinds of adult sex work over the years. I had done stripping, I did the Sugar Daddy stuff, I cammed here and there, nude modeling, those kind of things. When I moved to San Francisco, I really needed to supplement my income because it’s expensive. I was dancing on-and-off for 3 years and then when I moved to LA, I did the same thing. I moved to LA about a year ago. I was dancing part-time to supplement my income while I was building my practice as a therapist. I just wasn’t feeling passionate about therapy any more. So I was working in Van Nuys and I crossed paths with some people in the adult industry. I started thinking about it, they asked me about it and it seemed like a natural fit. I sat down one day, thought about it and decided to do it. I made a very conscience decision not to be held back by fear, whether that was fear of failure or fear of what people thought of me or fear of whatever. I had to make a choice based on what it felt like for me.

CJ: How many tattoos do you have?

Della: I think it’s 13. I’d have to count.

CJ: When did you get your first one?

Della: I got my very first tattoo right after my 24th birthday.

CJ: Do you have any favorites?

Della: Probably the two flowers I have on my arm. One is California Poppies and the other is Oregon Grape Bushes.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Della: I was 21.

CJ: Why’d you wait so long?

Della: I was raised to save my virginity for marriage and the only person I was supposed to have sex with was my husband and that was after we got married. And he’d be the only person I ever had sex with. I held out for a very long time.

CJ: Was that your husband?

CJ: You also just started feature dancing. How did you like that?

Della: I love it! I was a stripper on-and-off for 3+ years. I’ve been a performer all my life. I was in ballet when I was little, I did stage stuff, singing, lots of different things so being on stage is really fun for me. I hope to do some traveling but we will see what happens!

Della: Definitely, Pulp Fiction is one of my favorites. The Butterfly Effect, Requiem For A Dream also.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Della: Friends is always a ‘go to’. Shameless, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and a lot of Netflix shows.

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Della: That’s a hard question but I love fresh fruit. Also Mexican food and Mediterranean.

Jenevieve Hexxx Talks with Captain Jack

CJ: What do you like sexually? What gets Jenevieve wet?

Jenevieve: I like really bizarre people. Before I’m even turned on, I’m attracted to strange, twisted, dark, almost borderline insane but artistic and brilliant. There’s an energy to certain people that I’m attracted to.

Lisa Ann Talks with Captain Jack

Lisa Ann is a legend in the adult industry and I was thrilled and honored to talk to her recently. She got her start back in 1993 and recently returned from a little hiatus. She has a lot of things going on in her life and is successful in other mediums but still has a lot to give to the industry! We had a very interesting talk that veered off into different subjects and I hope you enjoy it! A special thank you to Lisa for taking time out of her busy schedule to talk to me!

Captain Jack: I guess the first thing I have to ask you, as I’m sure you get in every interview, is why comeback? When you retired, it was kind of messy and you were so successful with things outside of the industry? Why now?

Lisa Ann: It’s so interesting that you say it in that way. You say you were successful in other things and there are so many levels of success to be had in this adult business just as well. It doesn’t mean that I’m less successful that I came back; it means that actually understanding that I’ve mastered my sports radio career. I do it Sunday and Monday nights and I love it. But, realistically, doing something 2 nights a week is not something that’s going to keep me entertained. I started to travel around a bit and do some trade shows and got back out there in 2017. I was really entertaining the idea of coming back into the business for the whole year of 2017. And traveling, especially Australia, one of my favorite places to do trade shows and meet my fans, really reminded me of what I bring into people’s lives. How much fun people have had watching me, what they love about my scenes. All these thing really re-inspired me to stop and think, ‘ok, what were the true reasons that I left?’ Well, there was a lot of burnout there because I think I was doing everything that everybody wanted all the time just to please everybody. I wasn’t getting enough of my own life, my own sleep, my own time with my friends. So the life that I desired, it could have been created with me in the business but I just didn’t allow it to happen. I didn’t know how to say ‘no’. I also started to reconnect with a lot of the newer girls and the younger talent and I realized that no one has done something else, continued to do something else and shared that inspiration of ‘hey, people on the other side are going to be a lot cooler than you’re expecting.’ I want to build a bridge and be a mentor and give confidence to the girls that their opportunities are endless instead of feeling like they’re trapped.

CJ: I just reviewed Lisa Ann Is Back 4 More. You have Prince Yahshua, Isiah Maxwell, Johnny Sins and Markus Dupree. How did you choose the cast?

Lisa Ann: Isiah was my very last scene and I wanted to do my very first scene back with him. He was new just when I was getting ready to retire and we worked together a bunch of times and he is just such a nice guy. Loves the sex, loves being on set, really easy going, nice, nice, nice guy. I knew he would keep it a secret. Believe it or not, the first scene I shot, I hadn’t talked to Evil Angel yet, I hadn’t made any major decisions, I just shot it just to see how I felt about it. I was just going to roll the dice and thought, ‘If I don’t like it, I don’t have to use it, just see how I feel about it.’ So I did that and really got to that stage where I got comfortable. I loved the scene that I shot, I loved the talent that I worked with, I’m really happy with how all of this went. It really just happened organically and naturally.

CJ: In the BTS, you said that you were involved in all aspects of making the DVD. Most fans think you just show up on set and fuck. What did it all entail?

Lisa Ann: For me, it starts with me deciding who my talent is going to be. I talked about Isiah; I know Johnny, I was his first agent so we have a great connection; I love Prince and our fans loved us together; and Markus was getting into the business as I was leaving and reached out to me right when I was leaving to work with me but I was already retired. So it was about putting together the talent mix. Then you go through your crew and who you want to hire for each project. I started to look at locations and I was really trying to get away from that similar porno vibe where everything is shot in the same house and it all looks the same. I did a little more detail with the wardrobe and the makeup. You’ll see in my next movie, I shot it at the Randall Ranch and all the scenes are outside. It’s so beautiful. After the rain in California, it was such a rich, beautiful green. It was amazing. I did everything from buying wardrobe for the girls, to picking the makeup artists and locations and schedule. Getting on the phone with agents and who was available on what days and make sure the makeup artist was available and the house was available…It’s a lot of calculating but it really creates it as something special that you really put your heart into. I really thought about everything.

CJ: You have a distribution deal with Evil Angel. Is it for a certain amount of scenes or a certain amount of DVDs?

Lisa Ann: I’m producing so it’s pretty much on my schedule, whatever I want to do. The goal of mine is to shoot and produce one movie a month. But the reality is, to produce one movie a month, I lose a lot of time to promote the movie properly, to get out and do some store signings, stuff like that, so it’s probably going to be an every other month thing until I can get ahead. What’s great about Evil Angel is, as I shoot my scenes, even if I don’t have a movie ready, we go one at a time and add them to EvilAngel.com so my fans always have something. After they’ve been on EvilAngel.com, I get them back after 90 days to put on my website for my members. , LisaAnn.com.

CJ: You released a successful autobiography a couple years ago. How long did it take you to write it?

Lisa Ann: It took me a couple of years to write because I overwrite. You’re a writer so you understand what it’s like to overwrite. I really overwrote. Now I know. I’m working on a second book and you can write and edit. You also have to keep notes on what you’ve written so you don’t tell the same story twice. You have to know where you’re at. It was a great thing for me because I really grinded out my first year of retirement. That first year was not pleasant. I went through a lot of things and a lot of nasty things happened. So it was a great distraction of being in New York working on sports radio and grinding on writing and editing this book.

CJ: You are keeping your Sirius fantasy sports shows. I know that baseball isn’t your favorite sport. How long did it take you to get up to speed with all the players and the stats and all that?

Lisa Ann: I play fantasy baseball, I have to! It keeps me on air! My first year, I was in a 15-team league with all hosts and they have all been playing for a ton of years. I finished in last place. So I took all the next year and last year I finished in third place. It took me a good 2 years to really wrap my head around it. This year, I’m in 2 fantasy baseball leagues and I have 2 shows.

CJ: Baseball is a tough fantasy sport because it’s such a long season and it’s every day!

Lisa Ann: Oh my God! It’s the fucking player guess. It’s the 10-day DL and which pitcher is getting 2 starts and the lineups and when they change it. Baseball is a very remarkable sport. I was raised on basketball and football and it wasn’t until I started working for Sirius that I started following baseball and really learned the sport. I read a ton of baseball books and if you don’t have a grandparent or someone that takes you to games and explains to you what’s taking place, it seems like it’s a boring sport. But once you learn it and you understand the relationship between the pitcher and the catcher and the base stealers and what’s going on in the dugout and the calls…it’s such an old school, non-computer animated sport. It’s very nostalgic and classic. I really enjoy watching it now. I really enjoy watching certain pitchers. I really get excited over their stuff, their skill set. Of course, we’re all flipping out over Shohei Ohtani this year because he’s a 2-way player which I don’t necessarily agree with because you can only be really good in so many things. I’m so worried that he’s going to take a pitch at the plate and get injured and then you lose a great pitcher. I love watching him pitch because he commands the fucking ball. It’s really inspiring.

CJ: You said something interesting in the BTS of your DVD, that you want to help the young girls in this industry. How do you plan on going about that?

Lisa Ann: I’ve been contacting a lot of them, I’ve been reaching out to agents and seeing who they have that I could help them with. I just spent some time with Gina Valentina. I’m showing her on her Spotify store different things to do and different aspects of the industry. Just really teaching them. You’re a young entrepreneur, you’re building capital for your future and that’s how you have to look at it. And when you look at it that way, you want to hone in everything about your business and you want to look at your business as a time ratio scenario. So if you’re going to fill orders from your store, every order for an hour a day, you do that. You get in a routine. Just like when I started selling items on MySexyAuctions. I said I was going to spend 4 hours a week; post new items, print photos, have everything ready to go so when the order comes in, it’s ready to be filled. So by me walking them through steps on not being so overwhelmed and building a daily schedule, a daily journal of things you’re going to attack in the order you’re going to do them. I can see them already taking more control, feeling more empowered and being on top of things so they’re not so stressed. Sometimes when you get overwhelmed you even procrastinate more.

CJ: You have had a long and storied career. If you could go back and do anything differently, would you?

Lisa Ann: Yes, I wouldn’t have worked so much in my career. I wouldn’t have rushed around so much for as many people. I wouldn’t have hustled so hard, I would have enjoyed the experiences that I was having. For example, I’m feature dancing again but I’m only going to do five or six bookings a year. I did a booking in April and all these clubs are reaching out, ‘Oh, can we get the weekend after that?’ No, you don’t understand. I’m only going to do that once every 6-8 weeks because I want it to be really special. I want to fly in the day before. The last 3 years in the business, I was in New York Sunday and Monday; Tuesday mornings, I would fly out at 6am and be on set by 10. I’d shoot Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Then Thursday night I would take a redeye to whatever town and dance Friday night. I look at that now, that’s crazy. I recently had a booking in Tampa. I flew in a day early, I laid out by the pool, I laid out, I went to dinner with the owner, I was in bed by 9pm. I built in a tiny vacation. I brought a good book and I sat outside for 3 hours by the pool, something I won’t do at home because I’m doing a ton of other things. I want to make these things better. I want to appreciate the experience. Don’t rush through it, enjoy it. I didn’t get enough sleep before because I was always running around. Sleep is so important! You’re more rested, you eat better, all of that! All of the experiences, the good, the bad and the ugly, were all meant to happen because now I’m the person I am. I really look back and am thankful I went through everything because it really makes me appreciate the good stuff so much more.

CJ: I’ve had a question that I’ve wanted to ask you for 6 or 7 years now. I heard in a BTS a few years ago that you have a 101-year old friend that you’ve written to one time a week since you were 16. How did that come about?

Lisa Ann: Thank you so much for asking about my favorite person in my life. She passed away 2 days before her 102nd birthday. Living in New York was great because I was there the last 3 ½ years of her life, same as my grandfather. They were both in a nursing home in Pennsylvania and it was a really easy bus trip, about 45 minutes. I would get off the bus and walk to one of the nursing homes and my mom would come get me and we’d go together. So I spent a lot of time with Peggy. She was such an incredible person in my life. When I think about her, I want to channel her to the younger girls. I was talking to one of the younger girls early this morning and she said something negative about another girl. I told her, ‘Listen, the only thing you can do is see good in people. Don’t focus on the bad. Everybody has bad, none of us is perfect. So if you create this new mindset where you just notice the good, because they are all our co-workers and they are all people we need to co-exist with, and they are people who are going to help us succeed. It makes it a lot easier and more pleasant than harping on the bad.’

CJ: How did you meet Peggy?

Lisa Ann: Peggy was my neighbor growing up. She had an awesome farm which connected right to our property, which was farmland. She had a well and I loved her water even as a young girl. I would walk over to her house and get well water out of the tap. If you’ve ever had well water, you know how good it is. She rearranged her kitchen when I was a little girl so that everything I needed was in the under cabinets. When I was too short, everything was there. My parents would sometimes have her babysit for me and, as I got older, I wanted to be there. Every Saturday morning, she would make sticky buns from scratch. The process from when I was 7 or 8 years old, I would see her every Saturday. We started sewing together and we just did things together. She raised a ton of fruits and vegetables and she taught me how to can them. She taught me how to make pickles. Those are lessons that I didn’t even realize that young were going to be so valuable to me later in life. Knowing how to sew is amazing because if I need to alter something, I can whip out my sewing machine! I have the original sewing machine that she gave me for my graduation from high school in 1990. I refuse to get rid of it. I could buy a new high tech one but even when this one dies, I have to keep it! She never had kids, she was never able to have kids so I was her daughter.

Kimmie KaBoom Talks with Captain Jack

My second reaction was I didn’t even know that was a thing. I was in my 40s, I’m not a skinny girl and was taken aback by it. We thought about it and did some homework and we decided to just go for it. We are definitely a team and we look at things as a team. We are a partnership, we are husband and wife, we talk about all the things that I do and go for it that way.

CJ: Does he film with you?

Kimmie: He films for our website and he films all my content. He has also filmed for some international companies. As far as being in front of the camera, it’s usually just for our website.

Kimmie: Due to all the unfortunate circumstances that have happened recently in the adult community, a good friend of mine, Miss Leya, spearheaded the whole program. On a flight home, she asked how can we proactively help and bring people together and be a support system. She got together with some sponsors and they created this group called Pineapple Support. We listen 24/7/ We listen to someone who has problems. There are anonymous blogs where you can read other people’s problems. It’s really a great program and they are always looking for volunteers to be listeners. For those who are concerned that they aren’t trained for something like that, they have the training tools on their website. They have all these different categories and you can get some help. We have mental health issues but when you go to a professional and tell them you’re in porn, they go, ‘Ooooooh!’ Then they want to psychoanalyze why you’re in porn and come to the conclusion that it’s at the root of your problem. So it’s good to have this outlet.

CJ: What are you like off-camera? What are your hobbies and interests?

Kimmie: We have a project car, it’s an ’89 Mustang, we play around with and tinker around with. I’m an XBox 1 girl, I like playing my Fallout. We don’t have a lot of free time anymore. (laughs) After I get done here, I’m going to do a member show. We do a member show every Sunday.

CJ: What kind of music do you like?

Kimmie: I like my 80s hair bands but I’m open to all genres. I can pick out favorites in all genres.

CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?

Kimmie: I’m looking forward to Deadpool 2! (laughs) It’s so out there. I like some of the original movies. I don’t know how I feel about all the remakes. I recently watched Jumanji, which was a remake but they made it a little different. It was also respectful to Robin Williams.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Kimmie: Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Kimmie: I like Chinese food.

Marica is one of the more popular Asian performers in the industry. She was actually born in Japan and came to the United States a few years ago. I recently had a chance to sit down with Marica for this brief chat!

Captain Jack: Tell me about Marica Hase.

Marica Hase: I grew up in Tokyo in Japan. I am very close to my family.

CJ: At what age did you come over to the United States?

Marica: I think it was 2013 when I came here. I was doing porn when I was in Japan. I shot a lot over there and decided to come over here to shoot here.

CJ: Did you come over by yourself or with your family?

Marica: By myself.

CJ: You’re adjusting to a different culture, different people, different everything. How difficult was that?

Marica: It was very difficult. When I came here, my English was very bad. I could say ‘Hello’ but not much else. The culture was so much different. For example, American people are so outgoing and so boisterous whereas Japanese people are so quiet and introverted. Everything was different.

CJ: Why did you decide to get into the porn industry in the first place?

Marica: I was doing mainstream modeling including doing some nudes. I wanted to get more acting experience in front of the camera. I found an audition with the biggest porn studio in Japan. That’s how I got into it.

CJ: How long have you shooting porn?

Marica: 10 years.

CJ: How old are you?

Marica: I’m 36 years old.

Kate Kennedy Talks with Captain Jack

Kate is a newer girl in the industry. In fact, she’s only shot a handful of scenes, mostly in fetish content (as Kate Kenzi.)
