Aries Lux: I grew up in Alabama. I was born out of the country in Russia. I don’t really remember it. I found out that there’s another porn star with the same back story as me! Natalie West. Maitland Ward Talks with Captain Jack

Maitland has been a mainstream actress for years now, making her name at Bold and the Beautiful and Boy Meets World. She then got into CosPlay and made the jump into porn. I recently had a chance to talk to Maitland and she was just wonderful to talk to, very open about her career and where she’s going.

Captain Jack: Tell me about Maitland Ward.

Maitland Ward: I grew up in Long Beach, CA, an LA suburb. I had a very normal upbringing. I’m an only child, my parents are still together. I came from a good, solid background. I started acting when I was in high school. It was my 2^nd audition that I got the job at Bold and the Beautiful. My 1^st audition was for Saved By The Bell. I was in an acting workshop with a casting director, Christy Dooley. I liked soaps and started to get into professional acting. I was the youngest person in the workshop. She told me I should try out for the soap in the summer. I got into a contract role there and it was a really great experience. I was going to high school and doing the soap, which was the best of both worlds. I had these hunky boyfriends in their 20s and all the girls in school were jealous of me. I always loved performing.

CJ: You are also big into CosPlay! How did you get into that?

Maitland: I’ve always been a nerdy girl. When I was 3 ½ years, I was doing Star Wars in my front ward casting my dog as Chewbacca so I was always into that kind of stuff. I liked comics and Wonder Woman and all that. That was just in my past, something that I loved but I never really thought about making it something I do. I had been out of acting. I had moved to New York for a while. I went to school for screenwriting and just took a break from all of that. Then there was renewed interest when Girl Meets World, which came from Boy Meets World. The press was interested in all that. I said it was a possibility but I didn’t want to be cast in a past role for the rest of my life. I started going to red carpet events because I would dress sexy and I’d do crazy getups. A photographer that I knew, he was on the red carpet of the Haunted House 2 and he said I should do May The Force Be With You. I would go to San Diego Comic Con and the actresses would dress up a little but it wasn’t a lot. I had a real costume for Princess Leia. I did a photo shoot like that and it went viral. It went everywhere! And it was at the height of the Girl Meets World series. I realized people wanted to see me like that and it was fun for me and I started working with people to get different costumes and go to different Comic Cons and it really started catching on. It became a side career of something I really loved doing. And I would do it sexy. I would be on my social media doing all these sexy costumes and then I would be kicked off social media for showing too much. On Snapchat, if I showed anything, there were a few people totally against any kind of nudity. So eventually I got sick of it because I couldn’t express myself. I wasn’t in the adult world at all. So that was the only experience in adult that I had. So I started a Patreon page just to see what kind of interest there was and it blew up overnight. It was insane. For 2018, I was the #1 adult performer page, adult under their qualifications. They turned a blind eye to me once I started doing videos. Then I just started branching out a bit. Through Elle, I knew Sovereign Syre. She introduced me to a few people like Lily Love. So I started doing girl/girl stuff to ease into it. Maitland: Hundreds and hundreds. Every major city has one. A lot of little cities have them too. I go to the bigger ones that I enjoy.

CJ: How hard was it for you coming from the mainstream acting world to do an adult video?

Maitland: Surprisingly, it wasn’t difficult. There was something inside of me that I felt comfortable with. I was really lucky with those guys. Both of them have held my hand a lot throughout the process. I was sitting and thinking when I was doing a solo shoot. CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your favorite scenes that you could recommend?

Britney: There is one that just came out, there are actually two volumes to this movie from Adam & Eve, directed by Kay Brandt, The Motor Bunny Club. I love this movie so much! I had 3 scenes in this movie. Not only is it a funny movie, so well written, and I had some amazing scenes in this but every scene had the Motor Bunny. It’s like a Sybian! It’s the most amazing toy of all-time! It’s so freaking awesome! And then to make it more awesome, on the last day of shooting, Kay gave me one of the motor bunnies! The one she gave me hadn’t even been released yet. It’s like the Motor Bunny Buck that had some karate chopping action and all these crazy attachments. It’s worth thousands of dollars. It’s the most amazing gift I’ve ever been given! That movie just came out and I just ordered some movies last week. The box cover is great and everything about that movie is just fantastic! I’ve seen the scenes online but I can’t wait to have it in my hands!

CJ: How often do you use that Motor Bunny?

Britney: Not as much as I would like to because that thing is so loud! It’s almost like a paint mixer or a lawn mower, some heavy duty equipment. The thing weighs like 50 pounds too! Even when we were shooting this movie, it was in this huge mansion, if we used it in one room, you could hear it all the way across the house! When I have some alone time, I use it, or on cam shows. Every cam show that I’ve done since I got the thing, I’ve used it. (laughs)

CJ: Besides Kay, who are some of your favorite performers and directors?

Britney: I really like working with Jacky St. James. We did a movie earlier this year, Stepmother 16. I had a couple really good scenes in that movie. Really taboo and dark, very different from The Motor Bunny Club.

CJ: Are there any performers or directors you would love to work with that you haven’t had a chance to yet?

Britney: Bree Mills. I met her during XBiz and she’s putting out a lot of really great movies right now. I would like to be a part of that. When I was in college, I took quite a few acting classes so I feel like I’m good at acting. I feel I have a lot to give when it comes to that. Her movies are very dramatic and actor driven so I could bring some great stuff to the table.

CJ: Are you submissive or dominant?

Britney: I am definitely dominant 100%. I can pull off being a sub but I don’t really do too much BDSM stuff. I do some here and there when I’m hired by Kink. Britney: I feel like I knew myself sexually when I started but now I feel like I don’t know anything at all! Maybe it’s being dominant. I’ve always been kind of dominant in my sex life but the more and more sex I have, it comes with that. When you realize what you like and don’t like; what works for you and doesn’t, then you want more control. Let me take the reins.

CJ: Do you ever get recognized in public?

Britney: Yes, sometimes. It’s always weird encounters though. For example, a few times at the airport but it’s like, ‘Do you do movies?’ They don’t want to just ask if you do porn, it always dances around the question and is awkward.

CJ: You just had a compilation disk released, The Dark Side of Britney Amber. Tell me about that one.

CJ: You have recently been in a couple of mainstream productions. First, lets talk about Girls, Guns and Blood. Tell me about that.

Britney: It’s a Grindhouse style, Quenton Tarantino style action movie. I have a starring role in this movie. It’s about a group of guys who rob this brothel, they kill the madam and they kill the bartender. Four of the girls come together and they come up with this revenge plot to kill these guys and get their money back. It has a really great story. It’s so awesome. CJ: Then you’re also in The Arrangement. What’s that about?

Britney: Hopefully that’s coming out at the end of this year. That’s a more high budget production. It stars Eric Roberts and he plays the devil. He makes 12-year deals with people. It’s a thriller/horror movie. I’m so excited about that. The trailer is out already on YouTube.

CJ: What are you like off-camera? When you have free time, what do you do for fun?

Britney: Normally, I do archery and bow hunting but lately I’ve been traveling so much for feature dancing that I haven’t shot in a while. The last shoot I did was in May. I haven’t relaly shot my bow too much since then. I have a few targets set up in my backyard that I shoot at. When I have a day off, my favorite hobby now is sleeping.

CJ: What kind of music do you like?

Britney: I listen to everything. Right now, I’ve been listening to a lot of Podcasts on Youtube. I’ve been listening to Queen a lot and 80s and 90s stuff.

CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?

Britney: My favorite nostalgic movies are the Hellraisers. My favorite Hellraiser is Bloodline which everybody thinks is the worst one. I don’t get that at all but it’s my favorite one. For a long time, Godfather was the ringtone on my phone but I just recently changed it to Jurassic Park.

CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?

Britney: American Horror Story premieres tonight and that’s one of my all-time favorites!

CJ: What’s your favorite food?

Britney: It always changes. I’ve been making gazpacho right now. I love making green gazpacho. And salmon sushi. I love salmon a lot.

Val Dodds Talks with Captain Jack

Val is a beautiful girl/girl performer who got her start in the industry when she was 18. She got into a bit of trouble but then made lemonade out of the lemons handed her and made a pretty nice career in the porn industry. It’s been a few years since I’ve talked to one of my favorite performers!

Captain Jack: You took a little break from the industry, why are you coming back now?

Val Dodds: I took a break while pursuing other careers. I moved from Vegas to Denver, I do everything backwards because, normally, you move west the more you get into the industry. Now I’m getting back in. I just kind of missed it. I was still kind of in it but now I’m back to performing.

CJ: What did you miss most about it?

Val: That’s really tough. I just honestly missed all my friends, being close to everyone. When you’re kind of not in it, people are still working. When you are in it, you get to work with your friends. So when you’re not in it, they’re doing the same things and you usually hang out when you’re working.

CJ: When I saw you in Vegas in January, you said you were going to be a makeup artist. Are you still doing that?

Val: Right now, I’m taking a break from that also. I start school in April and I had some family stuff going on so I decided to take a break from all of that. I’m not saying ‘no’ to it; I’m just here in Denver helping family. Every year changes. When I first started in the industry, I didn’t even think my life would take me here. I didn’t think I’d be in Denver this year at all. Last summer, I was in San Diego…so I literally never know where I’m going to be! I just take things daily.

CJ: I have to tell you, at AVN 2 years ago, in January of ’18, all the talent lines up to get their badges and I was doing something on my phone. I just looked up, I didn’t even see your face, all I saw was your butt and I said to myself, ‘that’s Val!’ I had to wait until you turned around to make sure! Is that ass still growing? It’s just beautiful!

Val: (laughs) Thank you! I’m trying to work on it. When I really got into the gym, that’s one thing I definitely worked on. I tried to build the booty because, when I was younger, I had nothing there. It all came from working out.

CJ: For fans that are new to you, what scenes could you recommend where they can see you at your best?

Val: I just did one for Sweetheart Videos with Chloe Cherry. That was the first scene I did for them and I think it’s really cool. I haven’t seen it yet but I have no doubt in my mind, it’s going to be really cool. It’s with Adria Rae but I’m unsure what studio yet because she mentioned a couple different ones. CJ: Do you have any favorite performers or directors that you look shooting with?

Val: I am contracted with Cams.com so I’m doing a lot of shows with Alena Croft. She was actually my first Brazzers scene ever. After that scene, we became best friends, not even just at work, everything, I love her. And Jayden Cole. As for directors, Mike Quasar is pretty great. He’s hilarious on set. And then Ricky Greenwood is great too. I hope to shoot for him again.

CJ: Are there any performers or directors you haven’t had a chance to work with yet that you would love to?

Val: I haven’t worked with Kendra Lust. For directors, I’m in talks with Jacky St. James. All of her movies are always pretty good. I think having her as a director would be great.

CJ: I’ve asked you this before and you’ve probably been asked a million times but are you ever going to do boy/girl?

Val: I’m so unsure. If I do boy/girl it probably wouldn’t be for a company, it’d be for my own site.

CJ: It’s always great to talk to you at the convention in Vegas, do you like meeting your fans at those events?

Val: A handful of girls get tired of it and don’t like going to the shows, I love meeting people. It’s so much better for me to meet you in person than just a Tweet coming in. I’m a talker so it’s way better in person. I love the interaction of being face to face with someone and meeting them.

CJ: If you were granted a lesbian showcase film, what four girls would you want to be in it with you?

Val: I’d definitely have Jayden in it. Alena Croft, Kendra Lust and Bridgette B.

CJ: Are you a fan of tribbing?

Val: Yes. I think it looks hot in a scene.

CJ: When you’re with a girl, do you like toys to be involved or do you just like it to be the two of you?

Val: The two of us mainly and then possible a Hitachi. I think that’s every girl’s favorite.

Val: It depends on who’s directing and what’s happening. If there’s a ton of different positions, then you’re not really getting into it, you’re focused more on the direction of what you’re doing. Or if there’s a lot of cutting, then you can’t really get into it. But then if it goes straight through, then it’s obviously easier.

CJ: Do you have any fantasies that you want to live out on-camera?

Val: I feel like I’ve done everything I want to do through camming and scenes and stuff. There isn’t anything I want to do. I feel in the 7 years, I’ve done it all.

Val: Definitely in Nebraska. I got recognized recently at the airport in California. I always get someone looking at me and I don’t know if people know who I am or if they’re looking just to look.

CJ: Especially in Nebraska, are they nice to you or are they a little weird?

Val: It’s half-and-half. It’s where I went to high school and where I got arrested for public nudity and made the front page of the paper. Now when I go out, people will come up at the bar and talk to me and there are times when people are pointing at me from across the bar. I get both. I get people who love it and people who hate it.

CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done off-camera?

Ryder Skye Talks with Captain Jack

Ryder is a vivacious performer who I haven’t talked to in a couple of years. She has a lot on her plate and I tried to get to everything. In our last interview, Ryder had just filmed her first anal scene and that’s where we start this chat!

Captain Jack: The last time we talked, you just did your first anal scene. You’ve only done a handful since then, isn’t that your thing?

Ryder Skye: It just hasn’t been one of the things that I have been hired for, for some reason. I shot a lot of anal once I started doing it but I only ended up shooting like 4 scenes. I don’t know, maybe people don’t want to see it? (laughs)

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Ryder: It’s such a not interesting story. There’s nothing creative involved. It doesn’t involve words that had any special meaning or anything. I started dancing and I went by Ryder. It’s just a name that popped into my head so I went with that. Then when I decided to do porn, I needed a last name and it was literally the first thing that popped into my head. (laughs)

CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your favorite scenes that you could recommend?

Ryder: I always liked the ones that were part of features, like parodies and those. Those were the most fun. Recently, I shot a couple Naughty America videos that were pretty good. They were for My First Sex Teacher. One was with three girls and a guy. It was a fourway and that was fun.

CJ: Who are some of your favorite performers and directors?

Ryder: I love working with Michael Adams. And I like working with the Wicked directors but a lot of them have moved on.

Ryder: I did not. I actually started watching porn when I started working so I would have an idea about what to do and what it was all about. Ryder: What happened was Jared Leto did a documentary on the Fourth of July. He would have people from all over the United States. When it came to Los Angeles, he wanted to shoot a porn set but on the 4^th of July, nobody was shooting. So he hired me to produce a fake porn set for him. He then sent his film crews over to shoot it like it was behind the scenes on a porn shoot. It turned into a real porn shoot by the end of it. I was in charge of producing that segment and also starred in it. I’m not sure the exact date it’s coming out yet.

CJ: Wasn’t July 4^th the date of the earthquake in LA?

Ryder: It was July 4^th two years ago that we filmed it.

CJ: You’re developing a new video series for your YouTube channel about the state of the industry. Tell me about that.

Ryder: I started out doing sex toy reviews. So I did that for a while and it was like a professional show. I put a lot of work into it and then I started wanting to do an inside the industry thing where I could let people in behind the scenes. So it came together as a behind the scenes on everybody involved in a shoot from all areas of the industry.

CJ: You’re also getting into fashion developing a line of clothes for sex workers called Slutwear.

Ryder: That is going to be launched very, very soon. It’ll be t-shirts for men and women and people who want to own that special individuality.

CJ: And you are in the developmental stages of Pornstar Hippie.

Ryder: I started making clothes a few years ago and made the old designs more modern and sexy. I tried to keep the styles from the 70s for the most part.

CJ: You have a photography studio in your house?

Ryder: I have a one-bedroom and moved the bedroom into the living room and turned the bedroom into an office which turned into a photography studio. Each one of my walls has a different look. I started taking photos of myself because it was always hard to find a photographer. Then I started shooting other girls and they hired me to take pictures for agency websites. I love it.

CJ: Do you have any fantasies you would like to live out on camera?

Ryder: I guess it would still be pretty much what that movie is. Some crazy things.

CJ: What do you look for in a guy off camera?

Ryder: Someone who is somewhat intelligent. They have to be funny, they have to have an immature side because I’m immature in my own way. (laughs)

CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since joining porn?

Ryder: Pretty much everything! (laughs) I feel like I didn’t understand anything before I started doing porn. I was always very shy about my body or anything sexual. Then I realized that I didn’t need to be and I didn’t need to be. People told me that. Then I became very free. I don’t care anymore. I don’t worry about all the things I worried about before like the perceptions of me. That all went away and I can explore my sexuality.

CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?

Ryder: I’d probably be doing what I was doing before, working at some awful, awful corporate office and living a miserable life. That’s what I was doing before and I was so miserable.

CJ: Do you ever get recognized in public?

Ryder: It’s one of those things that people don’t often mention in public. I’ve never had anybody that was so obvious that they knew who I was. I did actually have someone just deliver food to me and he thanked me for helping him get through his separation. I thought that was pretty cool. It’s not everyday that it happens.

CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?

Ryder: I don’t know. I feel like I’m super boring. The craziest thing is I was dating this one guy and we broke into somebody’s backyard and had sex in their jacuzzi. It was the coolest thing ever.

CJ: Do you still draw?

Angela White Talks with Captain Jack

Angela White is the top adult star in the world today. She has been in so many hot scenes that it is easy to lose count. The Australian import is also one of the nicest people in adult. Captain Jack: OK, the first thing I have to ask you. Last year, part of I Am Angela was filmed in your apartment. Is your TV still in the box?

Angela White: Yup. (laughs) Nothing much has changed! I’ve just been working really hard and still have the TV in the box. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t have any distractions that way.

CJ: OK, last January, you won your second straight Female Performer of the Year award. How did that one feel?

Angela: Completely overjoyed. Completely overwhelmed. I felt honored. It’s quite an indescribable feeling, to be honest. It was almost more intense the second time. The first time, I was distracted by hosting and I couldn’t let the moment take over because I had to get back on stage and host. But, when I won this year, I didn’t have that responsibility so to have it sink in on stage was a moment I’ll treasure forever and I’ll never forget.

CJ: You’re in an exclusive club with Tori Black. Do you know her? Are you friends with her?

Angela: Yes, I’m friends with Tori, I love Tori.

CJ: I know she doesn’t shoot any more but I’d love to see you in a scene together.

Angela: Well, we did that wonderful orgy scene for her movie last year for Kayden Kross in After Dark. We won best group sex scene in that so I did get to play with her a bit in the orgy scene but it’s not quite the same as having a one-on-one. I would love to in the future. There’s a lost opportunity there. Of course, the scene would have to be “Black and White”.

CJ: I have to ask, although I think I know the answer, what was more special, the first one or the repeat?

Angela: They are both special. Winning Performer of the Year is such an incredible honor.

CJ: You went back to Australia this year. Was that your first time back in a couple of years?

Angela: Yes it was. It was amazing. Both seeing my family and my friends but just being back in that beautiful country. I had a wonderful time. I would go hiking in the morning, go to the beach in the afternoon and spend time with my loved ones at night. It had been far too long. I’m so grateful that I got the opportunity to go back and see everyone for a quick trip.

CJ: You’ve had some big projects this year. Let’s go over them chronologically from the time you filmed them. You were in Perspective directed by Bree Mills for Adult Time. That was a strong story with some great acting. How long did that take to film?

Angela: The filming itself was only 8 days. But the pre-production and post-production was a long time. Seth and I began working on our characters many months before we started filming. In fact, as soon as we got the treatment from Bree, Seth and I were getting together, running lines, going to acting coaching… So we were together for many months in advance. While the shooting itself took 8 days, the pre-production and post-production took a long time. The team at Adult Time took a long time with editing that movie and creating a score for the movie. So it was an immense undertaking.

CJ: It was a very intense performance, I saw a Tweet from Seth saying it took him a couple months to come down from the role. How did the role affect you? Were you still in that character after the movie ended?

Angela: Absolutely. During and after the movie and even, to a certain extent, before the movie. Those characters were very intense and Seth and I really took our characters seriously and we tried to become those characters. I think Seth even said, every time he plays a character, that character becomes a part of himself. I would certainly agree with him there.

CJ: Then you were also in Exposure from Digital Playground. Tell me about that one!

Angela: Yes! It was released on DigitalPlayground.com and hasn’t been released on DVD yet. That was a collaboration between myself, Digital Playground and Billy Visual. It’s a great film and I’m so proud of how that turned out. I love working with Billy Visual, he’s such a fantastic director. He always creates such a fun set. It had a great cast… Mick Blue, Ramon Nomar, Alina Lopez, Gianna Dior, Demi Sutra. A wonderful script that I actually had input on. It was really nice. I spoke to the team at Digital Playground about the kind of character that I wanted to play. I didn’t write the script but I had influence over what kind of script we were going to do. I really wanted to focus on a woman exploring her sexuality and showcasing female empowerment, and they were all on board. They wrote a script that fit what I wanted to see in a character and we executed that with Billy Visual and the help of his crew. That was a great project to work on.

CJ: In Angela Loves Women 5, you have Alina Lopez, Autumn Falls, Natalie Marx and Ana Foxxx, how do you go about choosing the women to appear with you?

Angela: I love shooting my own porn because, obviously, it gives me that chance to cast women that I’ve really been wanting to shoot with for a long time. All of those women, I’ve seen time and time again in shoots for other people and they just put so much passion and emotion into their scenes that I couldn’t wait to work with them. Ana, I had worked with before and Autumn, I obviously worked with in Dark Side. Getting the opportunity to work with them on my own production where I could really give us the freedom to shoot the way we wanted to for a girl/girl movie was really special. For example, the things I do with Autumn in this one has a very similar vibe to the threesome scene that you saw for Angela White Dark Side. Casting, for me, is always about searching for people that share the same desires as I do. The same focus on real chemistry, authentic pleasure, those are the things I look for, especially in the Angela Loves Women series.

CJ: I love how you match the lingerie with the girls in the scenes. Last time, you got away from that. Why did you go back?

Angela: It’s always been that, visually, I like to see both women matching. Aesthetically, I find it pleasing.

CJ: You were also in Drive directed by Kayden Kross for Deeper. Although you didn’t have a sex scene with her, you acted alongside Maitland Ward. I thought you held your own. How was that dynamic?

Angela: Thank you very much. Maitland is absolutely incredible and I’m so honored that I got to work with her so closely. It was really a privilege and to see someone of that caliber work her magic on the script that Kayden wrote, she’s an incredible actress and an incredible performer. I’m just so proud to have worked on that movie with her. Really, she’s an asset to have in the adult industry in general.

CJ: I think Maitland is just a super person, I’ve had a chance to talk with her a few times.

Angela: She’s genuinely a lovely person.

CJ: Some fans are clamoring that you and her must have a sex scene somewhere down the line!

Angela: (laughs) Yes please! After all that tease! We were on set together for that whole movie and we never got to kiss or fuck and I think we’re long overdue for a sex scene! I think when we finally get to fuck, it’s going to be explosive with the anticipation.

CJ: That was another intense story and you had a crying scene in it. I’ve heard mainstream actors talk about how they do that, how did you bring up the tears?

Angela: Yeah, I have to think of some sad stuff. (laughs) I’m not going to tell you what I thought of but the easiest way to cry is to think of something that truly upsets you. For me, ideally in a film, I’ll be able to cry naturally just from feeling what my character’s feeling at that moment. Really harnessing the character and what’s happening in that moment. Usually, that’s enough. But if you have trouble, there’s always a moment in everyone’s life that really affects them that they can draw upon.

CJ: You were in two orgies in that one with some fantastic women, Lena Paul, Alina Lopez, Autumn Falls, Kira Noir, Emily Willis, that had to be the best of both worlds!

Angela: Oh yes! I feel very fortunate to be involved in those scenes. It was wonderful to be asked to do some things in that movie that I haven’t done before. For example, I have never been suspended and fucked. I have done some solo stuff with Kink before where I was tied up and suspended but I have never actually been penetrated. In that final orgy scene, that was incredible because of that!

CJ: You’ve done a lot of gonzo and pretty many features. Do you prefer one to the other?

Angela: What I love is an opportunity to grow. The features allow me to grow in a different way than the gonzo scenes. I appreciate being up to do both. Obviously, I got into this industry because I wanted to explore my sexuality. When I created AGW Entertainment, my main focus was gonzo because in that all-sex sphere, I can focus on making my true fantasies come true. I’ve always loved gonzo and I’ll always love gonzo sex. But the great thing about features is that they allow me to experience my sexuality in someone else’s shoes. Because if I’m playing a character, I can feel people touch in a different way. I love both; it’s just a different experience.

CJ: Then, your masterpiece, Angela White Darkside. 6 spectacular scenes. How did that come together?

Angela: Jules and I wanted to collaborate on something for a long time. We both had the same objective; we wanted to do a showcase that was unique and we wanted to do something big. And, really, big was an understatement! With 6 scenes including a 13-guy blowbang and an 11-guy gangbang, we really did my biggest showcase ever with my biggest scenes ever. I’m very, very proud of this movie and really proud that I got to do a Dark Side showcase with Jules Jordan.

CJ: All of the teases in the movie were spectacular. I forgot to put that in my review but they were all unique, they were all special and you looked great in all of them. How did you come up with such unique teases for every scene?

Angela: We really put a lot of work into pre-production and how we wanted every outfit to be unique and different, we even thought about the colors because we didn’t want to double up on too many colors. In a showcase, it’s important that every scene be unique and different. We put a lot of energy into that. It was actually Jules’ idea to shoot in the abandoned Rock-A-Bolla waterpark. Of course, I jumped at the idea because what a unique opportunity to shoot in a place that is so different from what you see in most things. I absolutely loved shooting out there. It was quite a hike, it’s on the way to Vegas from LA and it’s actually something that I’ve passed every time I drive to AVN. It’s really cool to have driven past that and not really knowing what it is and then actually shoot a scene there!

CJ: Let’s talk about the Dredd scene. He is huge. How do you prepare for something like that?

Angela: (laughs) Actually, I have a special dildo to prepare for Dredd and that dildo only comes out when preparing for Dredd. It’s much bigger than the dildos I use to stretch for regular anal scenes. (laughs) I have a one-size-fits-all dildo that I use for most anal scenes but Dredd gets the special one. (laughs)

Angela: Amazing! I absolutely loved shooting with Onyx. He was incredible… 14 feet, 40 pounds, a monster. I loved him!

CJ: The great thing was, when you put it down, when you and Mick were about to shoot the scene, he just slithered away like, ‘My job’s done here!’

Angela: Yes, it was a perfect moment. You never know what’s going to happen when you shoot with animals. The way it moved out, it allowed Mick and I to get down to the hardcore, which was wonderful.

CJ: In the BTS, towards the end of the scene with Markus Dupree and Autumn Falls, Markus was exhausted. You almost killed him!

Angela: Oh yeah! A lot of fans don’t realize that in oil scenes, it’s really hard for the male performer. It’s difficult for everybody but the male performer has the additional pressure, obviously, of staying hard and balancing the other performers’ weight. We’re slipping and sliding everywhere, they look easy and they look like fun but making it look easy and look fun is the difficult part. It’s hard when you don’t really have grip on the floor or grip on the couch. You can imagine how difficult it is to fuck really hard so Markus has to do a lot of work!

CJ: Then, you had an 11-guy gangbang. How was that? Was that cock overload?

I was like, ‘I don’t know about this but I’ve never done it so let’s go!’ And he had just finished eating a corndog and had mustard all over his face. (laughs) It wasn’t romantic or anything. So I took Staar because no one else had it.

CJ: So I have to ask, do you still drink and do Madelyn and Stephie still appear?

Stephie: I drank myself to death twice in high school so I’m not a big drinker now. I do occasionally have a drink here and there but I don’t get to that point.
