Kali Danes: I grew up in Connecticut. I lived there until about 4 years ago when I moved to Florida. I was really excited about because I’m definitely a sunshine and outdoors girl. Emily Austin Talks with Captain Jack

CJ: How many clubs are open now?

Emily: We are in Texas, South Carolina and our newest location is in Philadelphia. We are opening that one at the end of February.

CJ: Any plans to go any further?

Emily: We always want to go further. I don’t know exactly where our next location will be but I know we’re looking. I’d love to go to the west coast but going to the east coast has been really fun.

CJ: What sets Bucks apart from other clubs?

Emlly: Of all the clubs, our drink prices are famously cheap. You go into most clubs and you’ll spend anywhere between $9 and $15 on just a regular domestic beer whereas at Bucks, you can come and literally spend $1.75. It’s pretty cheap. We also do $2 specials on Tuesday and I think we’re more known for our specials. Those set us apart from everyone else.

CJ: When you joined porn, were you aware of the social stigma attached to being a porn star and did that influence your decision in one way or the other?

Emily: It didn’t really matter to me. I knew it was something that was going to be there forever. It’s not something that really bothers me. I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve ever done. I’m pretty proud of being in the adult industry.

CJ: Do you have any favorite performers or directors?

Emily: My first big scene coming back was with Arch Angel and that was such a huge accomplishment for me, I feel like. My first time around in the industry, I always wanted to work with them and the opportunity never came up. Rina Ellis Talks with Captain Jack

Captain Jack: Tell me about Rina Ellis.

Rina Ellis: I was born in Korea and I moved to Japan when I was a few months old. I moved to New York when I was 7. I basically stayed here until I was 19 then I traveled to London. CJ: You just took a little break before coming back. How long were you gone for?

Rina: Not that long. When I say break, I think the last time I shot was June in Miami. So just a couple months. I just wanted to do my own thing and I was missing it and I came back.

CJ: Then you’re going to be shooting full time, as long as people book you?

Rina: Probably not. I’m probably going to stick to part-time. I appreciate it more and it gives me something to look forward to. It gives me a balance between my personal life and my work life.

CJ: When did you lose your virginity?

Rina: I was 14. (laughs)

CJ: Is there a good story behind it?

Rina: Not really. The standard, you don’t know what the fuck you were doing. Just a typical story. I bled all over the sheets. I remember him being 13 and didn’t know shit. I needed the extra money and it really helped me. The same friend also worked in London on the production side and they needed extras for a Brazzers scene. Katy Jayne Talks with Captain Jack

I had a chance to meet Katy at the recently concluded AE Expo and I couldn’t help but be struck at how hot she is! She also has a great personality that instantly draws you in! Captain Jack: Tell me about Katy Jayne.

Katy: I’m British as you can tell from my accent. (laughs) I was born in a town called Northampton, it’s where Princess Diana is from. It’s a very historical place. It’s where I grew up and went to school. I spent my whole life there until I was 19 when I went traveling around the world on a gap year. I went to Southeast Asia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Fiji, Los Angeles, which caught my eye and then New York. Then I went to University.

CJ: How long have you been in the industry?

Katy: Officially, I joined the industry 2 and ½ years ago but I wasn’t particularly active. I was going back-and-forth from the UK. I took one year off and now I’m back with all engines blazing and ready to make an impression. You can say I’ve really been active the last 6 weeks.

CJ: The first thing people notice about you is your ginormous breasts, what size are they?

CJ: Why did you decide to get into the adult industry?

Katy: Because I wanted to have sex in a safe environment and I realized no one in my hometown would get tested. I got tested every three to six months and I always used condoms. I got slut shamed by my peers. I never broke anyone’s heart and never lied to anyone and I realized it was better to explore my sexuality in an environment where I knew my partner was tested and everyone cared about sexual health. And there were witnesses to make sure I was safe and ok. And I get to get off in a safe environment, I get to have my emotionless sex which is my biggest hobby and I get to leave afterwards without the drama of a guy thinking, ‘Is she going to text me back?’ It was just a one-night stand, go away. (laughs)  I would literally go up to guys in a club and say, ‘Hi, I want to fuck you.  You can fuck me in any position you want but you must wear a condom and as soon as you cum, I’m calling you a cab and you’re going home. Are you in or out?’ Even after I said that, some guys would ask me for my number! I never wanted to lead anyone on. hence I was so honest before the sex.  I just think sex is a wonderful, beautiful natural high. And I’m promiscuous and single in an ethical, respectful way. I love men, I’m obsessed with them. I’m their #1 fan but I love the variation of multiple partners. I want to explore as many of them as I can.

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?

Katy: I was so excited. I was nervous for obvious reasons like ‘Oh my God, can I do this?’ I’m usually very chill but I was so excited. When I was planning to join the industry, and planning to leave my job, I deliberately abstained from sex for 8 weeks before I came to America to launch my career, as I wanted to make sure I had a clean test. I got tested in the UK 6 weeks before I joined the industry and then tested again in Las Vegas once I arrived here. So I was very ready. (laughs)

CJ: You must have torn that first guy up! He didn’t know what he was getting into!

Katy: It was Danny Mountain and he was wonderful. Obviously, a fellow Brit and he was very kind. He gave me a lot of performer tips like “this is for an audience. Remember, the guy is jacking off and he’s looking through that camera lens.” He told me how to position myself and how to arch myself. He was phenomenal and I’m very lucky that my first scene was with a wonderful performer who gave me such great advice. And I came so much as well, it was amazing!

CJ: What’s your favorite position?

Katy: The first porn I ever saw was Pirates by Digital Playground starring Jesse Jane. It blew me away. I’m just a volunteer trying to help the self-booking community! I’m not an agent and I’m not a talent scout. CJ: What would you be doing if you weren’t in the adult industry?

Katy: I was working at a sex shop at one point so I would probably go back to that profession. There’s a popular brand in the UK called Ann Summers that’s a lingerie and sex shop. I was working there for a long time before I worked in an office job for a project management firm. But at Ann Summers, I loved talking to women and teaching them how to cum and giving them advice. Nikki Peach Talks with Captain Jack

I think since then, I would go out and party a lot. I was definitely drinking and partying a lot in high school. I was 16 when I had my first drink I think. I was super shy growing up and I would only have sex when I was drunk even up until college. I would only have sex when I was fucked up.

Nikki: Only for photo shoots except for one time. The only time I was with a girl was with a friend of mine in college. She had a crush on me for a long time but I was never dying to fuck girls. Diamond Foxxx: I grew up in a military family. My mom was a marine and my dad was in the navy. We traveled all over the country, going to school on different bases. I was out there for two weeks and shot and when I came back to West Palm Beach, Florida, where we were living at the time, a guy at the airport, fresh off the plane, said, ‘I just watched your very first Naughty America My First Sex Teacher Video! Diamond: Yes, I’ve been pretty solid. I took a 1-year break back when my mom died in December of 2010. I helped my dad so I took a year off. Brazzers called and said, ‘Hey, the business misses you! What do we have to do to get you back?’ So we talked and I shot a gangbang video. It was a huge hit and I never looked back.

CJ: Getting into porn is a huge step. Were you a very sexual woman back in your younger years? Did you have an open marriage?

Diamond: No, I didn’t sleep around, not when I was married. After I had my 2 children from my first marriage, I joined the navy and then I did some running around. I didn’t have any time in high school to do anything so I was kind of stuck with my boyfriend. When I was in the navy, there was no holds barred for that kind of stuff. I actually got kicked out of the navy for sexual misconduct. Little did I know, if you’re single, you can not have sex. It’s in the department of justice’s handbook. I would say that porn definitely saved our marriage because I was not a very sexual person. I was very shy and reserved and very conservative and now I’m very open and forward.

CJ: Was there any nervousness when you started filming? I mean all these people are there watching you fuck. What was your first scene like?

Diamond: I was a nervous wreck. I got into LA and they put me on a train to San Diego, for Naughty America. I remember they told me they wanted natural colored fingernails. I had always painted my nails red forever and, if you see the video, I didn’t have any polish on my fingernails because I didn’t know what they meant by natural. They told me to do my own hair and makeup and I looked like a complete clown. I had never done my makeup before and didn’t really know what I was doing. They told me to bring teacher clothes…I don’t know, that a nun would wear. They said, ‘No! That’s not what we meant!’ We all laughed about it and it made for a great scene. It’s one of my fans’ favorite scenes ever, as much as it mortifies me. (laughs) We started the scene and they told me to get on top of the desk and fuck him. I was like, ‘OK, let’s see if I can do this!’ I managed to make it through the scene and forever, until the day I go to my grave, Brett Brando will be my favorite director. He was so cool and calm and took the time with me and had a lot of patience.

CJ: What’s your favorite position?

Diamond: My favorite position is missionary. I don’t get to do that a lot on film.

CJ: What do you like sexually? What gets Diamond wet?

CJ: What scene or scenes would you like your fans to check out to watch you at your best?

Diamond: I would say a big fan favorite is Chow Dong. It was made about 10 years ago for Bang Brothers with Seth Gamble. It was his first scene and I really thought the scene was going to bust. Diamond: I’d probably be doing real estate but I don’t know. That’s a good question. When I’m not working, I stay home and take care of the family and that’s probably what I would prefer to be doing if I weren’t shooting porn.

CJ: If you could magically go back and talk to Diamond before her first scene, what would you tell her?

Diamond: I would tell her to relax and go have fun. I would have probably told her to go and watch more porn before she did videos herself. (laughs) Do some homework first. When I find out who I’m working with, I don’t like to look them up on the internet, I just like to be surprised and have a nice time with the person.

Brooke Logan Talks with Captain Jack

I chatted with Brooke for a bit on Twitter and she’s a very interesting woman. She was in the industry for a few years, left to do her own thing and she’s thinking about coming back. She has led a pretty interesting life and I wanted to bring it to a wider audience. Enjoy! She was also known as Katie Lewis early in her career.

Captain Jack: Tell me about Brooke Logan.

Brooke Logan: I grew up on a farm in a very small town in northwest Alabama. The town has approximately 3,000 people, so very small. It’s also very conservative. I grew up riding horses my whole life, English style and Western style. My family was very religious. I have one sister who showed me my first porno when I was 14. My family was so conservative and religious, that I didn’t even know what sex was until my sister showed my the porno. It’s weird because we had goats and horses and chickens and I saw these animals reproduce but it never occurred to me. I thought that people kissed and that was as far as it went. I was so naïve’! My sister saw this porn movie from some kids at school and we had this shed with a loft on top of it and she played it for me. I was just blown away. I had no idea that people did stuff like that. That is when I decided I wanted to do porn. I made my first MySpace page when I was 14, I put the occupation as porn star. So the porn that my sister showed me, it had Brad Armstrong and Jenna Jameson in it and there was a line where Brad Armstrong said, ‘I’m Brad Armstrong and it’s ass fucking time.’ So, for a long time after that, I would just go around randomly saying that for no reason because I thought it was funny. Flash forward to several years later and I was 24 at an AVN Halloween event in Vegas and I met Brad. I was so star struck. I introduced myself and told him the story so he called his wife over and had me repeat it. They thought it was hilarious. That was a real interesting experience, meeting someone like that.

CJ: How old are you?

Brooke: I will be 28 in June.

CJ: How long were you originally in the industry for?

Brooke: I started doing porn when I was 18 and I worked for an agency called Adult Modeling Alliance in Miami. I stayed in Miami for a week and did a scene every day. I then flew to New York and did a couple scenes up there. I had a disagreement with the agency. When I was in Miami, all the videos were pretty straight forward…solo, lesbian, boy/girl….just regular sex stuff. When I got to New York, all they shoot there is fetish stuff apparently. I was raised in such a way that when they told me what the scene called for, I remember telling them that it was sick and perverted. There was no way I was doing that! They got so mad at me. When I was 19, I went to LA and stayed there for 2-3 weeks and shot 10-12 scenes. And then I did not do any more porn until I was 23.  When I got back into the business, I stayed in for about 6 months. My dad passed away about a year ago and I’m currently trying to be more productive. I’m working on my videos and am thinking about going back to Miami or LA to shoot more professional porn as well. I’m thinking I might want to get another boob job before I go back to porn but I don’t know.

CJ: What size are you right now?

Brooke: 32 double D. I just don’t like the way they look. I don’t think they did a very good job.

CJ: What were you originally?

She told me her brother had this friend who would probably have sex with me and he was cute. She gave me his number and I called him later that night. And the only time we could hang out with anyone was if we would sneak out while my parents were asleep. They wouldn’t let us go anywhere except to church and we could only go to church with them. There was this one big church in town. My parents made us go to their church which was way out in the country, in the middle of nowhere, close to where we lived. CJ: Were you with girls before porn?

Brooke: No, I didn’t have any experiences. I wanted to but I was so shy and had no opportunity..I just remembered something. It’s kind of a fucked-up story but it’s also really funny. I think I was 15 and my sister was dating this guy. We’ll call him Jared. Jared had gotten a job working for my dad. My dad owned his own company. So he liked Jared and would let my sister go and hang out at Jared’s house on the weekends. Anyways, Jared was 18 so he had his own house. My sister would let me tag along and hang out. This one particular day, my sister had been having sex with her boyfriend all day. She came into the living room and she told me that she was tired of having sex with him and would I like to go have sex with him. Brooke: No, I forgot about it for a long time. I was really excited about it when I was 14 but when I was 18, I had forgotten about it. I actually joined the army when I was 17. I was in the army for 9 months before I had a stress fracture in my pelvis. I was discharged for it and after I got discharged, I went back home and started going to the Community College and working at Wal-mart. One day, I was randomly browsing porn on the internet, just being a pervert, and I came across this site that said ‘Be A Model! Make Lots of Money! Travel!’ So I filled out the application and I think this was 2010. I thought it might be a scam thing where they get your email so they can spam you. I really didn’t think it was legit at all. I uploaded a couple of pictures with the application and that same day, a woman from Miami called me. She said she was with an agency and wanted me to come work for them. I told her that I might need to think about it for a while. That was on a Thursday and on Sunday, I was on a plane to Miami. I didn’t tell a single person that I was going to Miami. I quit my job and didn’t even research this company at all. I was so naïve’! I was raised to take someone at their word. I had not yet seen the evil in the world. (laughs) Luckily, everything was as promised. It was all legit, it was a good agency, we got along and everything went as planned. It worked out well despite me not researching it or anything.

Actually, when I got back from Miami, I didn’t tell my sister beforehand but I told her that I had been in Miami doing porn. She was so jealous! She was a huge fan of Jenna Jameson as a teenager. She used to live on the internet and look at how to do your makeup like a pornstar and, on school picture day, she would do her makeup like that. So she was so jealous but, by this point, she had already gotten married and had a baby. She was jealous and upset that she didn’t think of it first.

CJ: That was going to be my next question, whether your sister ever did porn.

Ivy Secret Talks with Captain Jack

I met Ivy via Twitter and she seemed like a very intriguing and sexy subject for an interview. I reached out to her and it was easy to set something up! She has an interesting backstory and told me some great stories!

Captain Jack: Tell me about Ivy Secret.

Darcie: It’s that they took notice in my work for that year. It felt really good. I never had a trophy before in my life! So it was super super super cool! It meant the world to me.

Ricky Greenwood Talks with Captain Jack

I had the chance to catch up with Ricky at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Vegas in January. Ricky has only been in the industry for a short time but already has some classic titles under his belt like Becoming Elsa, Talk Derby To Me, Confessions Of A Sinful Nun and it’s sequel which is dropping this week. We discuss his directing style, his influences and what the future holds.

Captain Jack: How did you get your start in porn?

Ricky Greenwood: I was working on a mainstream movie and got contacted. At the time, the position was for a Production Manager. My first experience with adult back in Montreal was very low budget, indie and I wasn’t making much money so I said, ‘I don’t think so but let me try.’  I really loved everything about it. Then I got asked to direct and I said if I can do what I want, sure.

CJ: Where do you come up with your storylines?

Ricky: I don’t write all of them now but I just do the porn I want to see. I think about a story that would be interesting to see and come up with it that way.

CJ: Do you have any influences as a director?

Ricky: Yes, it’s more from the Golden Age of Porn, I would say. My favorite movie is Beyond the Green Door so it’s that era. Also, you can’t tell from my style but I loved Emmanuelle and all those French erotic movies. I grew up in that time.

CJ: You have Confessions Of A Sinful Nun 2 coming out. Tell me about that one.

Ricky: The first one, I was a little bit scared because you put sex and religion together. I didn’t want to get slammed and didn’t know how people would react. So I made it safe. It was not the script I was planning to do. Also, when I wrote the story, I wrote it as a trilogy. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so you have to do three of them. But we didn’t know if the first one would work so we kept it safe. We didn’t want to have it open ended, we wanted to see how successful it was. But then, with the success of the first one, I decided to go further with it. I kept considering the first story but went further with it. It’s more the way I pictured it originally.

CJ: Do you have any additions to the cast from the first one?

Ricky: Mona Wales, Charlotte Stokely and Nina Hartley are coming back. Serene Siren and Magdalene St. Michaels are there. You also add Lena Paul, Cassidy Banks and Kenna James. Basically, at the end of the first one, Mona was sent to another convent. This story starts where Mona is at the other convent and you follow her journey. Magdalene will be the Mother Superior of that convent and Serene will be like Mona was in the first one. Magdalene is a mean one. She doesn’t allow sexuality between nuns and she doesn’t want her convent to become bad. She puts nuns in a jail at night and beat them up so they go on a straight path. And Serene doesn’t approve of that. She thinks if you treat them with kindness, they will find themselves on the right path.

CJ: Were you a reluctant Catholic school kid like I was in order to write something like this?

Ricky: No. My grandfather was a Catholic and he taught me some stuff. In Montreal, church was very strong in the 60s and 70s, we did bad shit to French people too so we kind of pushed them away. I grew up with that, and that’s the style of movie that always fascinated me. In the 70s, they made Nunsploitation movies, Joe D’Amato, Ken Russell… that’s my favorite genre of all-time. I watched all of them.

CJ: What I liked about the first one is that the storyline made the lesbian sex natural. It wasn’t forced at all.

Ricky: Same thing in the new one.

CJ: You have movies that have deep meanings in them. That’s unusual for porn.

CJ: In the past, Playboy really frowned upon it if their girls got into porn. Once you made the jump, did Playboy shun you or are you still in good graces?

Paisley: I haven’t really talked with anyone from Playboy for a while now but I know a lot of girls are starting to get into porn and other stuff like that so I think it’s a new thing with them.

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Paisley: Well, I’ve always liked the name ‘Paisley’ because it sounds kind of innocent and I have that innocent look and, honestly, it came down to that one because I went through so many different names and I think every name in the world is taken by a porn star. I probably went through 1500 names and I was, ‘There’s not really a Paisley so I’ll go with that.’

CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?

Paisley: I was pretty intimidated for my first scene. It wasn’t really a normal porn set-up because there was only one person there. I felt uncomfortable but, after that, all of my experiences have been really, really positive and not intimidating at all.

CJ: How long did it take you to master the little tricks that girls have to do like arching, opening up and all that stuff?

Paisley: After I saw my first video, I learned that all on my own. I said, ‘Oh, I don’t like how I did this’ or ‘I don’t like how I did that,’ so I started watching other videos to see what other girls did. Then, in my next shoot, they also helped me. Sex in porn is not like sex in real life, you have to play angles and stuff.
