Luna Star Talks with Captain Jack
Luna is just a sexual dynamo who has been entertaining us on screens for over 10 years now. This is the third time that I’ve interviewed this beauty. The first time was in 2015 when she was already established. The next time was about 2 years later just as a follow-up. I’ll tell you the kind of woman Luna is. I haven’t talked to her for a few years, since before Covid, at a dinner at AVN. It’s been at least 5, 6 years. I texted her for an interview and she texted me back within 15 minutes! Captain Jack: You were just in a new release for Digital Playground called Project X. Tell me about that one!
Luna Star. It was such an amazing experience. I thought it was great when I read it but I didn’t know I was going to be the main girl. When I finished the script, I fell in love with it. It was so good!
CJ: With English being your second language, is it hard to act because you have to memorize these lines too?
Luna: I’m such a hard worker and I pull my mind into it. I practiced so much. I’m not going to lie, there was one scene where I had a monologue and I practiced so much and I knew every line. When I was on set, I started getting nervous and I got it wrong a few times but, after that, I got it but it wasn’t hard because of my English but I was trying to hard to pronounciate even better, I took diction classes and practiced a lot. I wanted to do it so well. I got it and I was so happy and everyone was celebrating me because my English is a little barrier but I wasn’t going to let that be in the way.
CJ: Then you had sex with Alex Jones, that was a good scene. Was that your first scene with Alex? How was it?
Luna: I had worked with him before. It was really good. It was kind of weird because I was wearing a hospital gown. I think it was an interesting scene because we were supposed to do a bunch of places in the room but we thought it’d be better to do everything in the bed. I think that was so amazing to do it that way because it was a little uncomfortable for me and him and we made it look like nothing. He’s a real good actor and a great performer also. It was really good. It was an anal scene too. I think it was a great scene in general and having everybody there looking at us was great.
CJ: And the foursome with Cherie DeVille, Mick and Alex.
Luna: Oh my God. That was really good actually! I wanted to do more crazy things! It was set in a white room and we were having sex on top of this wooden stuff that they built for us. Everytime that I could, I was trying to do something impossible. Like when Mich Blue was eating me out, I was doing yoga positions and I was going to jump on Alex and then jump again. All of us did really, really good in that. It was super fun to tell you the truth. We were laughing a lot. Everytime we had cuts we were laughing a lot. We tried to take it to the next level and try to do a different position that’s impossible to do in those boxes. Me and Cherie, we were going at it and trying to go upside down. It was very interesting but super fun. I was working with really good performers and I gave my everything.
CJ: Every scene you’re in, you just bring the energy. You’re explosive!
Luna: My industry has never really seen that before. Ever since I started, I always give my 110% and I always thought in my personal life that I was a performer. I like to perform, I like to jump, I like to hang on stuff, flip around, do impossible positions…I want people to see me have sex and say, ‘I wish I could do that!’ but, at home, they can not do that. It’s really hard to do but I think that makes me who I am. I always want to do something new. I’ve been in it so many years and I don’t want to be boring.
CJ: For the first part of the movie, you were just on a gurney lying still, was that tough to do?
Luna: I loved it. They wanted to pick me up when I crashed the spaceship, I had all the guys carry me around…I spent 5 hours in makeup. They did it in so many takes to make it look so good. I was laying down and it was easy but I wanted to show off the makeup more because it was such a long day and it was so hot and sweaty. But everybody was so nice and I wanted to do it again. When they picked me up, I was literally laying on the dirt and there were things poking me on the grass. They were trying to make me not hurt so much and I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, no! We’re going to do it right!’ I was getting poked everywhere and I really wanted to do a good job.
CJ: At least you were naked, so there’s that! You have a great body, what’s your workout routine?
Luna: I work out a lot. My favorite one is yoga but I used to be a professional swimmer so I guess my body has a memory of when I used to work out really intensely. All of my life, I had really good body shape. In the middle of my career, I was making money so I was eating a lot and I gained a little weight but, ever since then, I’ve been really focused on my career. I do a lot of yoga and I snowboard. Thank God my body remembers! (laughs)
CJ: For fans that are new to you, what scenes would you recommend they check out?
Luna: I really love Seduce and Destroy. I did it last year for Brazzers. I love that movie because it’s a story that I created with me and Brazzers and I produced it too. There are 4 scenes and they’re all really crazy. It’s all supposed to be one day but, of course, we shot it over 4 days. I’m a spy and the scenes start like crazy. I’m on a jet ski in Miami and 3 people are following me. I jump off the jet ski in the middle of the ocean onto a boat and I have all of the best scenes that I ever had. It was a foursome with Mick Blue, Oliver Flynn and Damon Dice. I was having sex on a real boat. Mick is a really good performer and we did a DP. It was an air tight scene. And then I’m hiding in the boat and they’re following me. There was a storm in Miami at the time which made it difficult but we still made it happen.
