Cami Strella Talks with Captain Jack
Cami is a gorgeous woman who I had the opportunity to first meet at the recent AEE show in Las Vegas. She dressed casually since she wasn’t signing that day but she still looked incredible! Cami has a very interesting background and is in it for the long haul! We had a great chat and I hope you enjoy!
Captain Jack: Tell me about Cami Strella.
Cami Strella: I was born in the Southeast. I bounced around between Virginia, the DC Metro Area, Georgia for a bit and more recently North Carolina. A weird kind of diversion in my background, when I was 22, I dropped out of college and joined a cult. (laughs) Crazy, I know. They had a huge religion theme so they were hardcore Christians. I didn’t know better and neither did my brother who got me in. We just saw people making a lot of money, we were exposed to private jets, nice cars and we saw the money. They were talking about being retired when you’re young and I thought, ‘I’d like to be retired when I’m 25!’ (laughs) I moved to Seattle for about a year or so and I could “build my business”, which didn’t really amount to anything except for me going $30,000 into debt. But what I did learn was business savvy because these companies and this training organization or cult because of the big religious theme and they made you read 15-20 minutes out of a non-fiction book every day primarily about entrepreneurship and business psychology and those types of things. I learned so much! We listened to audio books and learned a lot about how to run a business. I was not born a numbers girl but I became a numbers girl. But, again, it was a cult and they made me be celibate, I became a born-again virgin, I had no idea what I was doing. I was young and dumb, I didn’t know. Once I moved to Seattle, I realized that this was kind of wacky! My mentors were very conservative in an extreme way. Yoga is the devil’s making. Don’t wear yoga pants, thou shall not be coveted. I had sex once and the whole time I was in the organization, they labeled me a sex addict. I left the organization because it was too much for me.
CJ: Did they kick you out or did you escape?
Cami: I left. I just ghosted them. It wasn’t a compound, it was a psychological cult. So, I moved back to the east coast, reenrolled in school, finished my undergrad school, went to grad school for occupational therapy/neurological rehabilitation. My whole motivation around that was working with military veterans. I always had a soft spot for military veterans. I interned for a non-profit when I was an undergrad originally called TAPS which stands for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. That’s a bereavement organization. I come from a military family myself. I went to a private grad school so if you’re not familiar, if you go to a private school in the South or Southeast, it typically means it’s a Christian founded University. This was in the midst of Covid, I started my Grad Program in May of 2020! I made it a year and a half in and then after my first month of rotation and then we started going back to in-person classes and that’s when a lot of people started finding out about what I was doing on OnlyFans.
CJ: When did you start OnlyFans?
Cami: February of 2020. I cammed before that and the way I got started in the adult industry, when I first moved back to the east coast from Seattle in 2018 or so, I started working in Myrtle Beach as a cocktail waitress at a strip club. The golf season down there is huge! There is so much money, every spring, every fall, the northerners come down for a weeklong boys trip. It’s like a bachelor party every night.
