Riley Jean Talks with Captain Jack
Riley is a very special woman and we’ve developed a nice friendship. I first interviewed her a couple of years ago and we’ve stayed in touch since. She recently went independent but still loves the industry and shooting some nasty porn!
Captain Jack: You got into the industry just as Covid hit. Was it a struggle at the beginning? How are things working out?
Riley Jean: I pushed through. I had some friends in the industry and we all agreed that I got kind of fucked over by starting in the industry right when Covid hit. Right when I started is when everything shut down. And then I got myself into a very abusive relationship with somebody and I didn’t shoot for about a year and a half. In that case, that’s not Covid, that’s me just being 22 and dumb and naïve. (laughs) It’s been interesting to re-introduce myself to the industry when I already have 3 years in.
CJ: The guy from the bad relationship, he’s in the rear view mirror? He’s not stalking you or anything?
Riley: No, he’s in the past.
CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your favorite scenes that you could recommend?
Riley: I would either recommend my Captured scene with The Flourish or my most popular scene with Alex Adams. That’s an old scene. But the scene with The Flourish is very fun. It’s on ManyVids. That was my first double vaginal on camera, that was my first boy/boy/boy/girl. It was a blast. It was so much fun.
CJ: You mentioned that you are really submissive with men. What’s the wildest BDSM play you’ve ever been involved in?

CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?
Riley: I actually just started stripping. But if I wasn’t stripping and I wasn’t in porn, I would be working in tech again, for sure. I’d go back to writing software.
CJ: How do you like stripping?
Riley: It’s funny because I’m a very, very introspective person. Despite what I do, I don’t really like being looked at. (laughs) When I auditioned, I was horrified but, now, I think I like it more for myself. It’s given me confidence not for like attention or money or men telling me, ‘I think you’re so pretty’, but because I showed myself, ‘Hey, you’re brave enough to get on that stage. Now you do that every night!’ I just have a fun time doing it for myself that I really like it.
CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually in porn?
Riley: That I don’t have to do things because other people want me to. I realize that might be a little confusing but when I came into the industry, I was very young and insecure. I’m still very young but I’m much more secure and I think I realize now, I don’t have to say ‘yes’ to everything. I’m allowed to say ‘no’. It might not be the most sexual thing to learn but, to me, it’s been the biggest. I’m allowed to enjoy this too. It’s ok for it to be pleasurable for me too. (laughs)
CJ: What do you like the most about the industry?
Riley: That’s a hard question. I’ve put my blood, sweat and tears into this industry for 3 years in some capacity. I think what I like most about it is despite a lot of the drama that you see on Twitter, there is a very strong sense of family and community amongst each other. I think personally what I like the most is just what I’ve learned about myself even since the last time you and I spoke, I like the person that I have become.
CJ: What do you like the least?
Riley: I think that a lot of things go ignored because it works just enough. There needs to be stricter testing, for sure. I don’t like seeing people taken advantage of, which I see a lot of.
