April Olsen Talks with Captain Jack
I first interviewed April when she first joined the industry! I could tell she was very fun and had a great attitude from the first second we connected. Nothing she has done over the past two years has changed my mind! April’s 1st showcase movie recently came out from Evil Angel and it was directed by Jonni Darkko. I talked to her about this masterpiece and about other aspects of her career. I always have fun talking to this beauty and let me just add that I think she has one of the best bodies in the industry. She is perfect! 
Captain Jack: When I first talked to you, you had just started and were still living in Jersey. Tell me about your journey these past couple of years!
April: I was in New York City, actually, my favorite city in the world. I really miss being on the east coast but I’ve made peace with LA living. Or example, I go to spin class regularly and have adopted a gluten-free diet. So, I’m adapting well, thank you for asking! As far as work is going, I’d say everything is going according to plan. I am shooting mainstream scenes and creating my own content on my own terms. A healthy mix of both is exactly what I had in mind when I moved out west.
CJ: One thing I’ve noticed about you, and I’ve mentioned this in reviews, is that you’re always smiling in your scenes! You just love sex! Especially anal sex!
April: You are so attentive, Captain Jack. Yes, I’m rarely without a smile. My mantra in porn has always been, “If I’m here, I might as well enjoy myself”, and I take that very seriously! Once those camera are rolling, I allow myself to get lost in the scene and focus on my own, and my scene partner(s), sexual pleasure. I approached Jonni Darkko way back in January with my idea and he was incredibly gracious to see it through. I wanted these special firsts in my career to be on my terms, with my fantasies considered, in the wardrobe and makeup that I found sexy. That was the whole basis for “April Knows Best”—she knows exactly what she wants and how to get it.
CJ: You do your first double anal in it. Who was it with and how did it feel?
April: I sure did! It was with Mick Blue and John Strong, two of the most solid performers in the biz. They made me feel very safe and comfortable throughout our scene which helped offset my pre-shoot nerves. I wasn’t sure if my body could handle such an explicit feat but their professionalism and porno know-how put my mind at ease, and my body followed. CJ: Last time we talked, you were a strap queen in training. Now, you’re just a Strap Queen. I follow your Twitter. You do it a lot! How often do you break that out?
April: Although I changed my twitter handle (fka @aostrapqueen, nka @_aprilolsen), I will always be a strap queen! I try to whip it out as often as possible. I can always use the cardio.
