Claire Roos Talks with Captain Jack
I first talked to Claire about a year ago. Back then, she had just lost her virginity on a porn set and was exploring her sexuality. Now, she has grown up and knows exactly what she wants. It’s amazing how much you can develop in a year! I caught up with this beauty and we had an interesting chat! 
Captain Jack: When I first talked to you, you had just lost your virginity on camera and were embarking on your porn career. How are things going?
Claire Roos: It’s been going pretty good. I definitely am more sexually experienced, obviously, than I was. I don’t regret losing my virginity in porn because I’ve been having sex with civilians lately. I think when I did the first interview, I had never had sex with a civilian before. When I started having sex off-camera, I was having sex with other porn people so I didn’t start having sex with civilians until a few months ago. They’re just not that good at sex. They’re just quiet and weird and it’s not the same. Porn people know what they’re doing and they know how to make it an entertaining and engaging experience. And it definitely feels like they’re having sex with me whereas with a lot of civilians, it just feels like they’re using my body and it’s kind of creepy. It’s interesting because I’ve seen people, other civilians, say that you’re just being used in porn. I’ve had the opposite experience. Most of my good sexual experiences have been in porn or with other porn people even off-camera and most of worst sexual experiences have been with civilians because they just don’t really know what they’re doing. They’re selfish.
CJ: Do you think civilians are with you just because you’re in porn or don’t they even know?
Claire: I’ve had some ok sexual experiences with civilians but, most of the time, I think civilian guys don’t really know how to have sex. It’s just very different than the sex I’ve had with porn people. For the most part, they don’t respond to your body cues the same way. I feel less comfortable trying crazy things with civilians. Like I don’t know if I’d let a civilian guy face fuck me because I wouldn’t be able to trust him enough to be able to say ‘stop’.
CJ: Speaking of face fucking, does that mean you’re submissive?
Claire: Yeah, I would say I’m submissive. When I first started out, I think I was leaning towards masochistic experiences and that’s why I was so into anal when I was first starting. I just love the way anal feels. I used to tell people that anal feels like when you have a bruise and you press down on it. That’s what anal feels like. CJ: Have you fallen in love?
Claire: Yes, I have! (laughs) I think I was in love with someone at the last interview but I had just met him.
CJ: You had an on-set accident earlier this year. What happened and how are you recovering?
Claire: It was an anal scene and the guy stuck four fingers in me but he didn’t use lube because they wanted to do a shot of the lube going down. So, he stuck four fingers inside me without lube and that caused fissures. I finished the scene but the next day I was supposed to shoot something else and I had to cancel. And then the fissures got infected and I had to go to the hospital. It wasn’t a fun experience. I’m doing good now; I’m healing up. I haven’t had any issues since then. It took a month for me to fully recover and to shoot again. Even regular sex, not just anal.
CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?
Claire: Claire is my real first name and then there’s this book, The Girl by Emma Klein. It’s about the Manson murders but it’s a fictionalized version. I saw the name ‘Roos’ in there and I thought it was cool and edgy. And I liked the vowels in it. I liked the way it sounded and it was playful and cute.
CJ: What’s your favorite position?
Claire: I think in my last interview I said missionary and it’s the same because I like having intense eye contact.
CJ: You look different than our first interview. Your body is different and your face is even a little different. Is that true or am I just seeing things?
Claire: I feel like I’m really good at transforming my appearance. Before I was like a cute little girl, innocent, cute; now I think I’m going more for the bombshell look. I’ve been working out more so my body is a little more curvy. And then I dyed my hair blonde. I don’t know how to explain it. I was looking at pictures before and I don’t look like the same person.
CJ: It’s like you’re more womanly now. You went from a teenager to a woman.
Claire: Yes! I was thinking that! I saw a picture of myself from about the time I signed with ATMLA and it’s like I was very non-porny. I looked like a cute little girl. Compared to now, I look so much more mature now. I feel like I’ve fully blossomed.

CJ: Are there any performers or directors you would love to work with that you haven’t had a chance to yet?
Claire: Yes, I really want to work with Jules Jordan. I want to do anal. I want to do a scene for Swallowed. I want to work with Mike Adriano. He’s one of the big directors that I haven’t worked with yet. I really like gonzo.

CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?
Claire: I feel like I would maybe be working in entertainment still. I’d be like a PA in entertainment, not necessarily porn.
