Anastasia Rose Talks with Captain Jack
Anastasia is back in the industry after 2 years away! She has a new look, as you can see from the pictures, and is happily clean and sober. I first interviewed Anastasia a couple of years ago. She’s excited to start shooting again and is ready to pick up where she left off! 
Captain Jack: You’ve been away from porn for two years. Why are you coming back?
Anastasia Rose: I was with a guy and also Covid wasn’t helping so I was back and forth with the guy. He wanted me in it then he didn’t want me in it, that kind of bullshit. My roommate Rebecca Vanguart said, ‘Dude, just come live out here with me. I’ve been telling you to do this for 4 years!’ I thought about it and she was right. I just needed to go out there and do it. I did it and I’ve been here since the beginning of May. And it’s turned out really amazing. I’m extremely, extremely thankful and happy that I reengaged with the industry.
CJ: I never understood that. A guy meets you, knows you’re in porn, then tells you to quit. What the fuck?
Anastasia: Yeah, it was crazy too! Because he’d be like, ‘We don’t have any money! You have to start shooting again!’ And it’s like, ‘Wait, I thought that…I…huh?’ I’m done supporting men, or boys whatever you want to call them. I’m done with that.
CJ: That’s the classic definition of a suitcase pimp.
Anastasia: Seriously. He would get so offended when I would talk about agents yet he was trying to control my shoots. That’s what he was doing. ‘Oh, you can shoot fetish!’ but then he didn’t have the trust in me to shoot fetish. I was so open to it, I said if he didn’t trust me, he could put a GPS on my phone. We did that and, now, I still have a GPS but me and my dad use it (laughs)
CJ: What did you miss most about the industry?
Anastasia: Just the community. It’s really cool when you’re able to start your day and do whatever you want. I like being able to use my phone again. I think I found a happy balance. I used to be 24/7 on my phone. I needed to update, I needed to post, etc and now, after being out of the industry for 2 years, I realized I can find a happy medium. I don’t need to be on my phone all the time. I can put it away at a family dinner, the OnlyFans messages will wait.
CJ: You have red hair now! You look great! Why the change?
Anastasia: Thank you! I just needed a change. Redheads are my favorite and I think that’s why I went for it. I love redheads myself. I’ve also been a redhead before when I was younger and I used to dye my hair a lot. That was the other thing too; I hadn’t dyed my hair since I was 18. I wanted to recreate myself, if that makes sense. And it is a female thing, like you said, you go through a breakup and you have to change something!
CJ: Red hair and you still have the big tits too.
Anastasia: I do. I have put on weight because I got clean; I no longer use drugs. I’m 2 months sober from opiates and 2 years off cocaine on the 21st of November. It’s been pretty awesome! I like talking about my sobriety. If you don’t talk about it, your chances of relapsing are so much higher. People are like, ‘I quit drugs, I’m no longer a drug addict!’ No, you still are. You’re just a recovering drug addict. You still have to keep a moral inventory of all that fun stuff. (laughs)
CJ: Did you keep up to date on the industry while you were gone? Do you have your eye on any new girls?
Anastasia: Not really. There was this girl that I heard of today. Her name’s Athena Anderson. She’s super hot, she’s a blonde and she’s got the tats going on. I would love to definitely work with her.
CJ: Are you going to be the same slutty anal performer that you were two years ago?
Anastasia: Yes and no. I’m trying to rebrand myself but you should definitely expect anal. I just think that I could not do anal. I think it’s part of my bloodstream now. (laughs)
CJ: You told me last time that you fucked a couple of brothers but not at the same time. But you were working on that. Has it ever happened?

CJ: When you’re with a girl, do you want toys to be involved or to just be the two of you?
Anastasia: Probably all of it. If we’re going to go all in, we’re going all in! There’s only one way to do this thing!
CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since joining porn?
Anastasia: That I’m more important than I believe. And know your worth but always add tax. I thought I knew my worth and someone told me to start adding tax. I asked what that meant and she said you may think you’re worth this but you’re usually biased because you’re hard on yourself. So always add tax. Because what you think is probably a little further away than what reality is.
CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?
Anastasia: When I was gone, I worked at a pizza place, I worked as a lifeguard at Aquatica and I worked, surprisingly, at a day care for about a month until they found out I was a sex worker. They kicked me out with a big boot and the boot went up my ass! I guess I understand.
CJ: If a girl were just coming into the industry, what advice would you give her?
Anastasia: Everybody is going to find out. Everybody! Your grandma, your dad, your brothers, your sisters, your aunt, your teachers, your concerned neighbors. Everybody! Your dad is going to know your stage name. I was blown away when I found out my dad knew my stage name. I knew he knew I was in the industry but that was a shock. He told me he had a concerned co-worker and a concerned neighbor. The concerned neighbor saw his daughter get fucked but wants to go and gossip about it. My dad doesn’t really have time for that. He says, ‘I don’t give a fuck. My daughter does what she does and I love her regardless. So, if you have something to say about it, fuck you.’
CJ: What’s the wildest or kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?
Anastasia: It was my first AVN so I was 18 ½. I was completely broke and couldn’t even buy food for myself. I did have one shoot out there but I wouldn’t get paid until the end of AVN. The camera guy asked if I wanted to go to Mr. Lucky’s. I told him I couldn’t pay for it, he said don’t worry about it, he was just bored. At the time, I was with a not-so-loving but disgusting PR, he was all hurt because he was supposed to go on a date with a porn star. He was crying on my shoulder and baby bird feeding me edibles. I was texting the camera guy, ‘Please get me the fuck out of here!’ So, we got dinner and we started talking and he was a really interesting guy. He asked if I wanted to stay in his room, no strings attached. I was sharing a room with the PR guy and 3 other girls, it was a little cramped. I told him I had to grab my bag from the room and in the elevator on the way up, I met this Australian guy. He made dildoes and they’re not normal dildoes, they’re more decorative. You wouldn’t use them, you put them on your desk for shits and giggles. He said, ‘I have some weed in my room, do you want to smoke?’ I was thinking, ‘Yeah! He’s kind of cute, why not?’ Before I know it, we’re in his room and before I know it, I have a condom and we’re fucking.
