Electra Rayne Talks with Captain Jack

Captain Jack: You wanted to get into porn since you were 11. How is your dream job going?
Electra: Amazingly well! I think we talked last time about how Kink.com inspired me. I like participating in many, many, many different types of porn but Kink.com is my inspiration. I’ve now done 2 scenes for them with their directors and an additional 3 scenes that will be released through them. That is really incredible; the dream of a lifetime come true! If you follow me on social media, you probably know my horse is sick right now. He’s stable but has ongoing issues. And the day I took him up to UC Davis, he was in patient hospitalized for a week. And that’s pretty far from Vegas, it’s about 9 to 9 ½ hours but with a horse trailer, it’s even longer. Plus, we had bad winds when we left and were going against 40 mph winds. But I shot a scene for Severe Sex Films that is going to be released for Kink.com. And I left immediately to start the journey to the hospital. I was really stressed and upset about my horse but I had to take a minute. If you told me as a kid, that I would shoot a scene for kink.com and then pick up my horsey and go on a journey across the state of California to get medical care for the horse, that little kid would have said, ‘Oh my God, I hope the horsey is ok but I have a really cool adult life!’ It was just this moment of perspective for me.
CJ: You mentioned last time that you’re a top, not a dom, a top. What’s the difference between the two?
Electra: That is a really great question! I’m glad you asked that. This is something that people get confused a lot! So, a dom and sub are specifically kink dynamic terms or BDSM terms and they have to do with the power dynamic but not physical actions. Where topping and bottoming have to do with physical actions. So, you could imagine a scenario where a guy who has a penis is tied up and totally helpless and there’s a Femdom and she’s like, ‘You’re powerless to control yourself! I’m in control of you!’ etc. And maybe she controls you and whatever happens to you is her choice. But within that situation, she’s domming him but he’s the one who’s actually topping because even though he’s not in control of what’s happening, the actual physical action, he is the penetrator and not the penetratee. Top and bottom are queer culture terms, not that only queers can use them. In a straight relationship when you have two cis gender heterosecual people, You can say the guy is topping and the woman is bottoming, it comes from queer culture where there’s not an obvious dichotomy.
CJ: You have always been in the kink society in your personal life. What is the wildest thing you’ve ever done?
Electra: That’s tough to answer because people’s ideas of wild vary widely. A lot of my most extreme scenarios have come through work. If you go and look at my first three scenes from 2015 and 2016, that’s the most extreme BDSM that I have ever participated in. It’s pretty much torture porn. There’s a lot more violence than there are sex acts. It’s a lot more extreme than what I am personally interested in. That being said, everyone on set was really great, I completely consented to everything and there were no issues. When I was younger, I was a lot more into degradation and humiliation. That’s still fun once in a while. What excites me more as an adult are things like group sex and public sex. I don’t know if this is wild or not but one of my favorite stories is my girlfriend and I in 2018, we went to New Orleans on New Year’s Eve. We have a tradition of spending New Year’s in a different city every year. We went to a swinger’s club there called the Colette Club which is the best swinger’s club I have ever been to, it’s very cool. Everyone there was much older than us. I was 22 at the time and she was 26. When we were getting our orientation, there was one other couple in their 30s but every other couple was in their 40s, 50s, 60s and very straight. We were the only queers there, as far as we could tell. I had brought a little backpack along with my main strap-on, some lube and a couple of other things, not a ton of gear. We were talking with this other couple in a lounge area. There were couches there, you could have sex there but it wasn’t really designed for it. We were talking and then I was talking about my most extreme experiences and teaching and education. That couple was very vanilla in regards to doing anything kinky or in public. They asked me how do I know what I like and how I communicate with my partner. I started teaching and talking about lists and communication and consent and then I started talking about how strap-ons work. I put mine on and not even in a sexy way but in a demo/teaching way. As we were talking, all of these other couples, at least 6 other couples, started gathering around and listening to me. That was a pretty cool and fun experience and then shortly thereafter, my girlfriend and I went into one of the exhibitionist rooms where there’s a big bed and people can watch you. And I got to do an actual sexual demo of a lot of the things that I had talked about. That was pretty cool. And, at the time, doing things in public was really new for my girlfriend. She was interested but she didn’t have that level of experience yet and I did. It was cool pushing her comfort zone a little bit in a very safe and negotiated way and teaching all these people. And, also, showing off like, ‘Hello! Here I am! I’m 22 and I can fuck this girl better than you can!’ That was awesome!
CJ: I was looking at your pics, you have very nice breasts. What size are they?
Electra: Thank you. I don’t actually know. I haven’t measured for a long time and they change. If I had to guess, I would say 32 D. Not 100% sure.
CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your best or favorite scenes that you could recommend?
Electra: Again, I have a problem with superlatives like best because everyone’s tastes are so different. I’m really proud of any and all of my scenes for Mike Adriano sites. Being able to physically accomplish that, I loved! And then, I feel like I do really well in VR scenes. I’ve done 3 or 4 Naughty America VR scenes. CJ: When a guy pops, where do you prefer it?
Electra: That’s a good question. It depends on what I’m doing later that day and how much I like the guy. Typically, I’m good with any place mouth or below. I don’t want it in my hair or my eyes or any place like that. But anywhere else is good with me. I like creampies but if you’re going out later, I don’t want to deal with that. But if we’re going to cuddle in bed, I’m totally fine with it.
CJ: And you’re a swallower?
Electra: Yes, definitely. I don’t know if I’ve ever spit in my entire life. Unless you count snowballing when you pass it back and forth.
CJ: How is anal on-camera different from off-camera?
Electra: It’s super different. That’s probably the thing that’s most different in my personal life vs. my professional life because what I find the most physically enjoyable is not a huge dick pumping in and out of your ass. That can be fun but, oftentimes, that’s more emotionally fun than it is physically gratifying. In my personal life, I prefer either smaller dicks or it can be a bigger toy that stays in one place while you fuck my pussy or I masturbate or I suck or dick or anything else that’s going on. I’ve done 6 of them and still looking at the footage, I’m impressed with myself. (laughs)
CJ: I notice your model card on the ATMLA website includes double anal and double vag. Have you ever done that before?
Electra: Yes, I’ve done double vag a bunch of times. The first time ever was in my Gangbang Creampie scene. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that because my second one isn’t out yet. But because I did so well, when Mike Aziano, when he put together his 2 Poles 1 Hole, which is an all-double vag site, he asked me specifically to be the first shoot, which was cool. I have bottomed for double vag, I have topped for double vag and I have topped for double anal. I have not bottomed for double anal but I think I’m ready to do it. I’m nervous but I think I’m ready.
CJ: I know you have a girlfriend but what do you look for in a girl off-camera?
Electra: Oooh. That’s a good question. My girlfriend is very dykey looking and I say that in the most admiring way possible. She would agree. She also uses that term, it’s not me being rude. It’s literally true. She looks very gay, she has very strong arms and abs and a lot of her head is shaved but not all of it and it’s very hot and sexy. But, sometimes, I like a real femmy girl and my heart and brains and crotch just freak out a little bit. I haven’t yet figured out how to predict it. Honestly, I think it has more to do with an energy of self-confidence. That’s more important than what she actually looks like.
CJ: What about guys?
Electra: With men, I absolutely have a type. I love men who wear jewelry and I love bisexual men but really, and my girlfriend laughs at me all the time for this, I like skinny, dark-haired stubbly nerd boys.
CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since joining porn?
Electra: I learned that I’m capable of a lot more anal stuff than I thought! So much more! And I’ve learned that there are things that I don’t like. I don’t squirt and I’ve learned that when guys say they can try, I don’t like when they do that. It does not feel good. It just feels like they’re squeezing on my bladder and it does not feel good at all!
CJ: If you weren’t in porn, what would you be doing right now?
Electra: Probably what I was doing during my break for porn which was Localization which is sort of like translation for documents that are used in clinical drug trials. Really rigorous translation and making things culturally appropriate. So, if our question says ‘Choose your race’ and one of the options is African American, obviously, that doesn’t work when we’re giving the questionnaire in France so we need to more than just literally translate it, we have to make it culturally appropriate for France.
