Kenzie Reeves Talks with Captain Jack
Kenzie is an absolute star in the adult industry. I have wanted to talk to the 2020 AVN Female Performer of the Year Nominee for a while now. If I had a bucket list of girls I wanted to interview, Kenzie would be at the very top! We saw each other every year at the AE Expo but never connected for an interview. Finally, I hit pay dirt and Kenzie was everything I could have asked for and more! She was funny and revealing and was just a super person to talk to! I hope this interview brings out just a little bit of her personality. If it does, I’m doing my job!
Captain Jack: Tell me about Kenzie Reeves.
Kenzie Reeves: I grew up in New Hampshire. I am totally a New England person. Duncan Donuts over Starbucks any day! (laughs) My mom’s side is really Mormon, workaholic, very strict. I had a 5pm curfew until I was 18. Then the day I turned 18, I quit Taco Bell and became a stripper. I did it for a year-and-a-half and did everything I could do with that; made the most out of it. I thought what else I could do and googled porn. I thought about it for a few days and then flew out!
CJ: How old are you?
Kenzie: I just turned 23 last week.
CJ: How long have you been in the industry?
Kenzie: Sept. 26 will be 3 ½ years. So a little over 3 years, not quite a veteran yet but a little more than a rookie.
CJ: Don’t they say most girls last 3 or 4 months>?
Kenzie: I think it all depends on the person. Half the people that initially get into this aren’t doing it because they really actually like sex. Some people do this just because they need money. When you’re doing something for money and you don’t actually love it, you’re not going to have the same amount of passion and it shows.
CJ: The day you turned 18 and became a stripper, did you move out of your parents’ house as well?
Kenzie: I already had my own apartment at 17. I graduated high school early. I was actually going to be a psychiatric nurse or an RN. I did vocational programs for both and I did an internship for a psychiatric nurse in a children’s psych ward. After doing those things, I realized that I have a very focused personality. If I see a guy that I know is guilty or a kid that has an imaginary friend; it’s normal at 6, I wouldn’t be able to abide by the rules.
CJ: I heard you lost your anal virginity before vag?
Kenzie: I grew up Mormon! I didn’t even use tampons until I was 18! I was so afraid! I didn’t even know how to put it in! I remember, I had to, the first time I used one, I had to. I was at my girlfriend’s house and I asked if she had something and I couldn’t say Tampon. She had to explain it to me. I go in the bathroom and I wasn’t allowed to go to health class in school. I had to sit in the nurse’s office because my parents would not let me do it. I’m in my girlfriend’s bathroom and I’m looking at this plastic thing and I said, ‘OK’ and just put it in there. And it slides out because I put the whole thing in there, the plastic and everything! (laughs) I told her, ‘I think it doesn’t fit me!’ And she says, ‘What are you talking about?’ I was VERY sheltered growing up. I was not allowed to even wear makeup unless it was a holiday and, even then, it was just mascara and lip gloss. I was also a tomboy too so that’s part of it.
CJ: Are you still close to your mother because I can’t imagine she likes your career?
Kenzie: In my family, I had always been the black sheep; I had always been the one who went to do what they wanted. But in a peaceful way, I’m very responsible. I had my own place at 17, I’ve never even had a roommate. I’ve always had my shit together so it wasn’t like I was this troubled kid that went off to do porn. I have a good head on my shoulders and they can tell that this is something that I really want to do. She’s definitely become more comfortable with it. She’s always accepted it but she’s recently started asking me how things work. It’s really cool how time has gone on that she’s become a little more curious rather than just accepting. They’re actually opening up to it.
CJ: So you were 14 when you first took it up the butt? How was it?
Kenzie: No, I was 14 when I lost my girl/girl virginity. That was the first thing. Then I was 16 when I lost my anal and 17 when I lost my vaginal.
CJ: Let’s start with the first one, your lesbian virginity. Were you the aggressor or did she come after you?
Kenzie: I grew up in a very religious family and, every summer, there was this stupid fucking church camp that I was forced to go to. It was an overnight camp and you’re up north. You’re in the middle of nowhere. You can’t even escape or sneak out for a night. Anything! I met this girl from a different town that was also forced to go. She was kind of like me and we snuck off during the fireworks or whatever one night. Whatever they were doing, some campfire shit. She was, ‘Hey, do you want to leave?’ ‘Yeah!’ And we went back to her cabin. We were smoking and she told me how she just broke up with her girlfriend. I had never met a real life lesbian or bisexual at that point. I was 14, I was sheltered, it was New Hampshire, it’s not very diverse. (laughs) I said, ‘Woah, what is that like? How do you guys kiss? Do you do everything that a boy and girl do?’ I was all cute. Mind you, I had scene movies, not porn but like Titanic. Sexy. (laughs) So I kind of knew and she started kissing me. We got more into it and I remember we were mid-scis and her camp counselor walks in and literally deer-in-headlights! We both got banned from the camp for life. I was grounded the whole summer. I’m still friends with her on Facebook. She’s really, really cute. She’s a good girl. That was my first girl/girl.
CJ: And then you lost your anal virginity when you were 16.
Kenzie: I was at a party with my boyfriend at the time and, oh my gosh, I don’t want to embarrass him if he ever reads this! We’re partying and having a good time and we’re chilling in the kitchen at 2am. His boys are haggling on him how he still hasn’t done anything sexually with me. I was having a good time and I wasn’t really thinking and I said, ‘How about this? Let’s make a bet!’ And his friend that was hassling him the most about it, I go to him, ‘If you guys make out in front of all of us right now, we will go do it!’ (laughs) So when we got in the bedroom, I said, ‘Can we do it like this? Because I can’t do it vaginal. Can we do it the other way?’ He was more than happy with that! He was very surprised. So it wasn’t conventional but it definitely worked for me at the time.
CJ: So you turned 17 and finally lost your vaginal virginity. How was that one?
Kenzie: That one was more romantic. His dad had a lake cabin and we would go up there on the weekends and hang out. One night, it was our one-year anniversary and he had the flowers and the candles; it was really romantic. I remember crying, ‘I don’t know if this is right! We’re not doing it right!’ But it was time. (laughs)
CJ: Now look at you 5 years later!
Kenzie: I know! I know! I’m like, ‘What happened?’ Little did I know.
CJ: Once you finally had sex, did you go wild then and start sleeping around?
Kenzie: I did break up with him a couple of months later because I liked somebody else. I had 3 or 4 boyfriends after that but I was in New Hampshire, there’s not many people to choose from! And I’ve known them all since I was a kid, they knew too much. (laughs)
CJ: Being so religious, even taking it in the butt, did you have feelings of guilt afterwards?
Kenzie: No because I wasn’t. I had to be until I was 18. My family didn’t make me get baptized because they left that choice to me because it’s a commitment. I do not believe in God, I believe in everything. Whatever happens, happens. Let it be. None of us really knows so anything’s possible. I’m just mellow about it and, ‘whatever!’
CJ: I also heard you have a daddy fetish? You like calling men ‘daddy’?
Kenzie: I do! Yes! I like the dominance. My normal personality is very vocal and very up front. If someone can overpower, I like that. I’m always the dominant person and I like being manhandled.
CJ: You’re so petite also so you’re perfect for that. How tall are you?
Kenzie: I’m 4’11 ½”. 59 inches!

Kenzie: Yes, that’s actually one of the reasons I started doing it. CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?
Kenzie: Originally, the first name I wanted was ‘Aria’. I thought it was a beautiful name. But everybody kept pronouncing it wrong so after a couple of days, I decided to change it. The second name I liked was ‘Kenzie’ because it’s very bubbly and very sweet and happy. Then, ‘Reeves’, one of my favorite actors, not just as an actor but as a person, is Keanu Reeves. He is such a humble, down-to-earth, generous person. I really admire that. He inspires me and no matter where this career takes me, I never want to forget my roots and my humble beginnings.
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?
Kenzie: (laughs) I love when girls say they were so nervous when they got in because I was still doing this. Throughout the whole plane ride and car ride to the airport out of nerves. My boyfriend drove and said, ‘You don’t have to do this!’ ‘No, I want to! I want to! Keep driving!’ The plane ride, all 3 days I was there, it was all about nerves. Even when girls told me to relax that it’s going to be fine, I had to find out for myself. My first scene was with Reality Kings with JMac. I was so mad at myself because that was the funnest thing ever! I said that I’m never going back! (laughs)
CJ: What’s your favorite position?
Kenzie: Actually, pile driver. It just hits the right way.
CJ: For fans that are new to you, what are some of your favorite scenes that you could recommend?
Kenzie: Oh, I hate this question because there’s so many! I would have to say…. this is hard! My favorite scene just because of the sex was my Analized scene with James Deen. I love his sex. Sometimes I just close my eyes and think about the time we had together. (laughs) It’s just uh! It’s so good! It was great! I’m getting wet just thinking about it! CJ: Who are some of your favorite performers and directors?
Kenzie: For girls, my best friend is Vina Sky. I love working with her. We’ve worked together many times. I also love working with Scarlett Sage. She is so amazing, over-the-top energy, I love working with her. Another person I would have to say is Alex Coal. You can tell she loves what she does. She’s dynamite. Another girl is Serene Siren. Another one is Tommy Pistol. I fucking love working with him! He’s the craziest male talent I’ve worked with. He’ll say, ‘Put a fingernail in my urethra!’ ‘OK!!’ I love somebody who pushes my boundaries where I’m ‘Huh, I’ve never tried this before. Punch your ball sack? OK!’ Another person would be Markus Dupree. That’s pretty controversial but I have to say he’s always treated me with respect. I know everybody’s experiences aren’t similar but his performance is over-the-top amazing. That’s something you can’t really discredit him for. His energy is more than my energy and that’s hard to top! It’s very hard to top me because I have a lot of energy! (laughs) The fact he brings that much more energy than I do is amazing!
For directors, I have to say my favorite, favorite, favorite is Chris Streams 100%. He always makes me so comfortable and I love that he pays attention to details. He’s not one of those directors that you’ll ever hear, ‘Hmm, that’s fine.’ I love that he’ll tell you, ‘Move your elbow ½ and inch…. nope, move it back.’ But it looks so perfect and he really cares about every photo. It makes me feel pretty when I see it. So he’s one of my favorites. I love Mason. I love her. I love her energy. I love how much she cares and the intensity level. I like that because I’m intense. I like when I’m with people that have my work drive and you can tell she puts so much thought and time into each scene. Another person I love working with is Jonni Darkko. He is so much fun to work with. He has taught my butthole to do things I did not know it could do. (laughs) That, to me, is a huge accomplishment so he’s one of my favorites because every time I work with him, I learn something new about my body. And then Stills by Alan because he literally has that attention to detail. I love directors that care about what they’re doing and aren’t there for just a paycheck. He puts so much detail and attention into his scenes. And I really like to work with people like that because it makes me feel like it’s worth my time too because it’s worth your time.
CJ: You’ve worked with pretty much everyone, is there anyone out there, performers or directors, you would love to work with that you haven’t had a chance to yet?
Kenzie: I would love to work with Riley Reid. I would love to work with her. She’s my number 1! I’ve been waiting. One of these days, it will happen!
CJ: What do you like sexually? What gets Kenzie wet?

CJ: What are you like off-camera? When you have free time, what do you do for fun?
Kenzie: I watch Netflix and I eat food. (laughs) I love shopping, I have a huge shopping addiction I will say. And I love horseback riding. I go trail riding and will rent a horse for a day and go up into the mountains. I love paddle boarding. I’m actually moving this year or next to Las Vegas where they have more lakes nearby and I can paddleboard every day. I don’t get to do it enough here.
CJ: What kind of music do you like?
Kenzie: EDM.
CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?
Kenzie: My favorite movie of all-time is Casino with Joe Pesci. It’s such a classic. That’s definitely my all-time favorite. Other movies would be Legally Blonde, I can not discredit. And The Devil Wears Prada.
CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?
Kenzie: I love the show Zipper on Netflix.
CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Kenzie: I would have to say Asian. I’ve been to Asia twice. I love the food, it’s so different, the spices and it tastes so good!
