Alex Jett Talks with Captain Jack
Alex is a fresh faced male talent who has only been in the industry for a couple of years. He is starting to make a name for himself and is being cast in bigger productions for some major studios. Let’s get to know this new male talent.
Captain Jack: Tell me how you got your start in porn.
Alex Jett: It was actually kind of unique. I was posting naked pictures online for fun because I’m just that kind of degenerate and I got a large following. The right people saw it and I went out to Vegas and tried to do a scene. I killed it and got offered a spot with my first agency and I’ve been doing it ever since. I have not heard from any other guy in the industry who has a similar story.
CJ: How old are you?
Alex: I’m actually 29. I look a lot younger so I play younger a lot.
CJ: Did you have any regular jobs before you got into porn?
Alex: I had a couple. I started doing a career then went back into entry level service stuff. I started out as a private investigator. I did that for a couple of years until the work dried up in California so there was nothing for me to really do. I had no other skills so I worked as an entry level service person.
CJ: How is fucking on camera different than your personal life?
Alex: It’s different because when you’re fucking just for fun, you don’t have to worry about opening up or anything; you can just enjoy the sex. But when you’re filming, it’s all about getting the right angles for the camera. Lots of times, the positions can be super uncomfortable. So it looks really good but if you’re doing it right, it doesn’t feel very good. (laughs)
CJ: Now, 9 out of 10 guys will say that they can do it. Tell them why it’s not as easy as it looks!
Alex: I think a lot of guys don’t realize how sterile a porn setting is. Obviously, you have an attractive co-star but when you’re doing it as a job, it’s not the hottest thing in the world especially because you don’t have a connection with everyone you work with. It’s mechanical and also, beyond that, fucking in front a bunch of guys with a camera right in your business can be awkward. A lot of guys don’t have that experience. When you’re watching porn, you don’t see the three or four guys behind the camera, you just see the action going on. That’s another shock for guys who want to get into porn, you don’t know what it all entails.
CJ: I know how working the 9 to 5 is and some days you just don’t feel like being there. Have you ever felt that way in the industry considering you get a new hottie to bang every day?
Alex: Absolutely. There are definitely days that I’m not feeling great and would rather just sleep in instead of getting up and going to work. Doing anything really, not just fucking. But the thing that I always tell myself and the thing that always gets me through it, even the worst day that I’m having, when I show up on set, I make more money that day than I would working full time for 2 weeks. Just knowing that right there and having that experience makes the worst day feel pretty good.
CJ: Have you ever been booked with a young babe and it’s difficult to contain yourself?
Alex: Not really. I have been starstruck by a couple different performers. Not cumming or anything like that because it’s super easy because I don’t like to. It’s not hard for me not to cum. No matter how starstruck you are, once you start doing the scene and you get to the sex, it does get mechanical so it’s like second nature. Also, just as an aside, before I got into porn, I didn’t really know pornstars. I learned very quickly that if I’m going to work with someone, not to look them up ahead of time. If I’m meeting this person and I look at her Twitter beforehand and she has 600,000 followers, you feel you really have to perform well and then it just gets in your head. So when you meet someone, just say, ‘It’s nice to meet you,’ and then look afterwards.
CJ: Do you have any new projects in the works?
