Emily Austin Talks with Captain Jack
Emily is a gorgeous blonde who took a couple of years off to help her husband with their gentleman’s club. But she is back now and better than ever! I’ve seen her in a couple scenes since her return and this is something special about this girl. She is a great performer and just as nice as she is beautiful. We discussed her return and what she loves about the industry!
Captain Jack: You took a break for about 2 years. Why did you leave porn?
Emily Austin: My contract with my agency at the time had gone up and I also worked for Bucks Cabaret which is a gentleman’s club out here in Texas. We started expanding and opening up more clubs. My husband is very much involved in that so I took some time off and helped him with that. I went to clubs and went dancing or cocktailing or bartending…I kind of do it all.
CJ: When you’re at the club and just bartending, do people recognize you?
Emily: Of course, yes. ‘Oh, hey, you’re Emily Austin!’ That happens all the time.
CJ: How many clubs are open now?
Emily: We are in Texas, South Carolina and our newest location is in Philadelphia. We are opening that one at the end of February.
CJ: Any plans to go any further?
Emily: We always want to go further. I don’t know exactly where our next location will be but I know we’re looking. I’d love to go to the west coast but going to the east coast has been really fun.
CJ: What sets Bucks apart from other clubs?
Emlly: Of all the clubs, our drink prices are famously cheap. You go into most clubs and you’ll spend anywhere between $9 and $15 on just a regular domestic beer whereas at Bucks, you can come and literally spend $1.75. It’s pretty cheap. We also do $2 specials on Tuesday and I think we’re more known for our specials. Those set us apart from everyone else.
CJ: When you joined porn, were you aware of the social stigma attached to being a porn star and did that influence your decision in one way or the other?
Emily: It didn’t really matter to me. I knew it was something that was going to be there forever. It’s not something that really bothers me. I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve ever done. I’m pretty proud of being in the adult industry.
CJ: Do you have any favorite performers or directors?
Emily: My first big scene coming back was with Arch Angel and that was such a huge accomplishment for me, I feel like. My first time around in the industry, I always wanted to work with them and the opportunity never came up. So when I came back the second time around and I found out they wanted to shoot me, oh my gosh, it was incredible. I wouldn’t mind shooting for them again. It would be pretty cool to shoot for Blacked. I don’t necessarily care to shoot for just anybody.
CJ: Speaking of that movie for Arch Angel, it was The Queen of Spades Club. Let’s talk about that tattoo and the meaning behind it. I never knew about it until I saw that scene.
Emily: I would guess you could call it a lifestyle choice. My husband and I are technically not swingers; we’re technically not in an open relationship or open marriage but I’m allowed to go out and fuck whoever I want. And I happen to like the black guys I find. The Queen of Spades tattoo is a symbol for wives who enjoy being with black guys. My first go round in the industry, of course I was doing IR and I always enjoyed it and I did it in my personal life as well, and then I got my tattoo early spring of last year. So before I even got back in the industry. I remember going on a go-see and meeting with Arch Angel and telling them that I was into that. I like doing other stuff but this is what I’m really, really into. We talked about it, Mimefreak and I, and it kind of went from there. It was this idea that he helped me bring to life which was really cool.
CJ: When you got the tattoo, did you know what it signified?
Emily: Oh, of course! And I don’t think the tattoo artist knew because he didn’t ask any questions. I think most tattoo artists don’t really care about anyways. I totally knew about it. My husband and I talked about me getting it. We talked a few months beforehand about how big do I want it, where do I want it? I don’t mind it being visible to people if I’m wearing shorts or a skirt or something. I have a few people asking about but it’s not something that I’m ashamed of.
CJ: How does it work? If a black guy sees the tattoo, he immediately comes up to and starts talking to you?
Emily: In the past, my husband has friends who are black who I had the nice opportunity to be with. So that’s kind of worked out. But then, I also been on Tinder and sites like that and I’ve met a few guys on there. So it starts from there. But, then again, it doesn’t necessarily start out, ‘Oh my God, I want to fuck you just because you’re black’. It isn’t like that at all. It’s just something that I think is very, very hot and I find them extremely attractive and my husband enjoys to watch.
CJ: Are you submissive or dominant?
Emily: It honestly depends on the mood. I’m normally very submissive but, lately, I’ve found my dominant side and I’m enjoying that adventure right now on film and in my personal life.
CJ: Did you watch porn before you got into the industry?
Emily: I was. I wasn’t a big fan girl but I did watch it. There’s something about the amateur stuff that I really, really love. I feel that’s so real and organic when you watch it. It’s almost like you’re there. I love the big companies like Brazzers and Digital Playground and they’re fun to shoot with and watch but there’s something about amateur porn.
CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done off-camera?
Emily: I’ve always thought it was pretty kinky when me and my husband first got married that we got caught having sex in a movie theatre. That was pretty kinky. I feel like, for us, having sex in a car or something is not kinky, that’s just normal. (laughs) I stick to public sex. The movie wasn’t that good! (laughs)
CJ: Other than at the club, do you ever get recognized in public?
Emily: I do. Sometimes people will come up to me but it’s normally people messaging me on social media afterwards. ‘Hey, I think I saw you but I didn’t want to come up to you.’ I deal with a lot of that. But I always respond back that they could have said hi. If it makes them feel good to see me, I want to make them feel good that I acknowledge it. I am appreciative of it.
CJ: What would you be doing if you weren’t in the adult industry?
Emily: I would probably be involved with the gentlemen’s club industry 100% fully. I would also probably be doing something with animal rescue as well.
CJ: If you could magically go back and talk to Emily before her first scene, what would you tell her? Would you change anything?
Emily: I would tell her that it’s going to be ok. (laughs) Just have fun. It’s not something that’s so serious that, at the end of the day, I signed up because I wanted to do this. It’s just fun, it’s ok, don’t be nervous!
CJ: What have you learned about yourself sexually since joining porn?
Emily: I think that I learned that there’s so much out there that if people just open their eyes and get out of the bubble of the way things should be, they should just have fun and explore with their partner. I’ve done that a lot and it’s taught me to be more comfortable sexually and it’s ok to try new things.
CJ: What’s your favorite thing about porn?
Emily: The fact that I get to have sex and it’s my job. And I enjoy doing it.
