Aria Sky Talks with Captain Jack
Aria came to my attention on the ADT boards as the first girl born in the year 2000 to be in the industry! I interviewed her in early June, just after she went through her high school graduation! Captain Jack: Tell me about Aria Sky.
Aria Sky: I grew up in Wisconsin. My family was not much, my parents were pretty manipulative. In school, I did really, really well. In high school, I got a 4.0. I was just your basic nerd. Nobody really knew who I was and I was cool with that. Just now, when I started doing porn, I headed back for my high school graduation a couple of weeks later. Everybody in the school, at graduation, knew I was doing porn which made for a very interesting dynamic.
CJ: How did they take it? Were they curious? Or were they ripping on you for being a slut?
Aria: They loved me! Everyone was hitting on me, they thought I was cool because I was really open about my sexuality which is not the standard in Wisconsin. I didn’t hear from anyone who wasn’t supportive other than my parents and their friends…mostly the older generation. Maybe they called me a slut behind my back but I didn’t know about it.
CJ: You’re 18, correct?
Aria: Yes I am.
CJ: And you were born in 2000?
Aria: Yes. January 15. I’m a Capricorn!
CJ: How long have you been shooting now?
Aria: About a month.

Aria: I lost my virginity 3 months ago, so in February.
CJ: Is there a good story behind it?
Aria: Yes, it’s a bit of a long one, do you want to hear it?

Aria: OK, I was headed out to Portland, Oregon to look at colleges. I was going to be out there for 2 weeks because I graduated early from high school. I didn’t want to be alone out there so I got Tinder and was looking up people in Portland to hang out with. I found this couple and I had a sense for the woman because I’m very trusting of women. That was a good thing. There was this one couple that was hosting a BDSM party and I thought that would be really cool and fun. And a great way to lose your virginity. We started messaging each other and at first, I thought I was talking to the woman, who was 23, but it was her fiance’ who was 29. Aria: I never watched very much porn, it’s not really my thing. Obviously, it depends on the porn and how horny I am. What did it for me is that I really got into watching documentaries about porn, like Hot Girls Wanted. At first, I thought, I must be watching it because I felt bad for them and wanted to help them. CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?
Aria: There’s a show called Pretty Little Liars that I used to watch a lot in middle school. People would tell me that I looked like Aria, which is Lucy Hale. I always loved the name so those two things combined led me to Aria. The first company I worked for said I needed to come up with a stage name like NOW. So he sent me a list of names and I had already been considering both ‘Aria’ and ‘Sky’ and when I saw them both on the list, it clicked for me and I figured that it would make a good name.
CJ: I interviewed another girl last year that was 18 and just got into the industry and her name was Aria Skye, with an e.
Aria: I was totally unaware of that until it was too late. (laughs)
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?
Aria: Honestly, I’m not really camera shy. I kind of forgot that it was there. I’m just really, really into girls so I thought, ‘I get to eat pussy now? Good deal! CJ: What are you like off-camera? What are your hobbies and interests?
Aria: I love dancing! I’m looking at different dance classes to take but I also am turned on to music. I’ll be in my room dancing. In public too, it doesn’t matter. I also sing at really inappropriate times so I’ve been told. (laughs) I love hiking, I really like going on drives, which I miss because I don’t have my own car yet. Just adventures in general. I wandered around the beach today and that was really fun… Spending time with friends is huge for me.
CJ: What kind of music do you like?
Aria: It’s a variety. Halsey is a go to because I just think she’s the sexiest thing and her voice is so unique. But I also really like this artist called Borns which is more alternative. He has this called 10,000 Emeralds Pools that I’ve always been obsessed with. Florence and the Machine is great. And various pop songs I like that don’t have a pattern to them. My brother used to make mixed tapes for my car which was really sweet. He introduced me to a lot of classic rock and alternative bands.
CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?
Aria: The girl I really like told me to watch La-La Land which is so applicable to my life. I totally loved it. I was on the plane, smiling, crying and just going through this whole series of emotions. I love the message that you don’t have to be in someone’s whole life to learn love and gain a lot. It’s also really important to follow your passion which is what I try to do. I also love Pitch Perfect, I’ve always loved that movie. It’s a classic. Breakfast Club is great. Stuck In Love is also one of my favorites.
CJ: What’s your favorite TV shows?
Aria: My all-time favorite has to be Parks and Recreation. It’s so charming. My second favorite is Modern Family. I used to really be into Orange Is The New Black. Right now, I’m watching The L Word, so it kind of fluctuates between comedy and drama.
CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Aria: It’s probably Thai Green Curry or Dark Chocolate.
